Purple? Why purple? What does that even mean?Jordan's thoughts were spinning like an out of control clock. Thoughts flying in and out like an airport.
Declan was now frozen in place, unable to register what had happened. 'This can't be' Declan thought. 'Never in my life did I imagine... the prophecy... no IT JUST CAN'T BE!'
The silence was deafening, and It was driving Jordan a little crazy. He was about to ask Declan or one of the other council members what the heck was going on, when fortunately Principle Russet came into the room now holding a coffee in his hand confused at the scene in front of him.
The student Jordan was trying to speak to the Leader of the council of Mianite, who seemed to be frozen in place. The other members looking just as confused as everyone else, but more confused as to why Declan looked so freaked out.
He then noticed Jordan's screen, which was purple he didn't understand why, That wasn't the colour of a Sylicate, Mianite or Dianite, what was that?
He hid his confusion, keeping himself composed in front of the students, as to not stir panic.
"What's going on?" He asked Aurora.
"Well... I don't know, I've never seen Declan like this, it's unsettling." She replied worried.
"I've got this, don't worry" he reassured.
The principle walked up to Jordan and Tom and excused them from the hall. Jordan didn't want to leave, he wanted answers but Tom dragged him forward to the next room.
Jordan could still feel the eyes of everyone in that room, it was really uncomfortable, but understandable. He did something that people haven't seen before, and that made him more of a weirdo then they already thought he was.
When he was pushed through the doors, the tension faded and a different atmosphere was there. Students were excited about their placements, chattering and unaware of what had just happened beyond those doors.
Tom still has a hold of his shoulders, like he was too scared to let go.
"Are you alright man?" He finally asked, breaking their long silence.
"Uhh, I think so, but what just happened? Why don't I have a ring like you and everyone else?"
He blurted, unable to stop the question."I don't know man, I do know you ain't a Sylicate! That's great news, a Sylicate's screen turns white" he said trying to lighten his mood.
Jordan gave a sigh, wait if he wasn't a Sylicate, what was he?
He broke from his thoughts when he saw Sonja, standing exactly where she was in his simulation, weird.
He took Toms hands off his shoulders, saying thanks, then walking over to her. When he got there, he remembered when he saw her leave she didn't have a ring, he had to ask.
"Hey Jordan how was it!? Oh my god that was so amazing, it felt so real! When I finished I didn't even know how to feel, but I thought I was in there for days! How was your simulation? Did you get into Mianite?" she said shaking him excitedly.
He was getting an intense feeling of Déjà vu. That is exactly what she said in the simulation, how did it know? It took him a few seconds to realise that he was just staring into space like a goof right in front of her, and saw her rapidly waving her hand in front of him.
