Ella's POV
"So what does that equal?" questioned David in a baby voice. I knew that I wasn't like other people and what other people considered normal, but I wasn't a baby and I certainly want stupid.
"64,' I answered bluntly.
"Well done!" He practically screamed, as if he was surprised that I could do a simple multiplication sum. He was really starting to annoy me now.
You see, David is my teacher, as I'm homeschooled.
Well why am I homeschooled you ask?
Because I'm 'insane'.
Yeah, I am almost completely normal with what my hobbies and interests are and I am actually pretty smart. But aside from that, I am unpredictable.
I hear voices, and see things and I swear they are there.
But people say I'm lying, and that I'm just crazy.
But I don't lie.
?All of a sudden I will see something that apparently 'doesn't exist' and I will go crazy. I will run to find my mum immediately and take her to what I saw but she will look at me with a blank expression. She tends to pretend that I'm normal and acts as if she can see them too. But I know it's just an act, and she can't really.
She knows that I can't help it though, but when she thinks that I'm not looking, she will sigh and roll her eyes at me.
I feel so alone and stupid sometimes. I can't help that I see things an hear voices, especially when they seem so real.
I know for a fact that I'm crazy, and I've learned to accept that nothing ever makes sense when it comes from my mouth.
"Ella? Are you listening to me?" My annoying teacher asks, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Erm, yeah sorry err," I quickly stutter before checking my worksheet to see where we are at. "Is it 5y+x?"
"Yes, now that you've got the hang of it I think we should move on to some harder questions."
I quickly oblige before turning the page over to start on some harder questions.

Sorry this chapter sucks but I just wanted to get an idea of how Ella thinks of herself ect... anyway
•I've decided that my chapters will be quite short like this (obviously a bit longer than this as it was just a starter chapter) but it's just so I can update at least once a day and not leave people waiting for updates :) also from now on no more starter type chapters, I'm going straight into the storyline now x
