THE TWO NEW best friends woke up bright and "early" at 9 o'clock that morning.
the two got dressed. "so you have any plans for today? you can stay the night again if you like?" dj asks tucking her pink floyd graphic tee into her senile shorts.
"i would love to, i'd rather be anywhere but home" beverly slips on her shoes and slams her foot down from the pressure.
"but my dad is gonna be wondering where i am, so" she shrugs.
"yeah i understand, that's fine we have all summer to hang out"
before leaving dj grabs her skateboard and cigarettes.
dj never really smoked, she just carried an empty box of cigarettes from her dad with a lighter inside.
beverly rode her bike and dj was right beside her, on their way to the pharmacy.
"i'll take these, what kind do you use?" dj asks referring to the brand of tampons.
"oh uh, i use these, i like them better" beverly grabs a random box.
"fun" dj smiles "lets look st the candy" she smiles growing big eyes.
before the two girls can make it to the candy aisle they find greta leaving the pharmacy, so they run to the next aisle becoming face to face with 3 boys.
the two girls both hide their boxes behind their backs and dj drops her skateboard and slowly picks it up.
"eddie?" "dj?" the two kids say at the same time.
"you two know eachother?" bev asks dj.
"yeah sadly, some people don't keep their noses to themselves." eddie sasses.
"i told you i was fucking sorry ed's" dj rolls her eyes.
"w-what's wrong with you?" bill asks beverly.
"nothing, what's wrong with you?" beverly asks exchanging awkward looks.
"none of your business" stan replies.
"there's a guy outside, looks like someone killed him" eddie says.
"w-we need s-supplies but w-we don't have enough m-money" bill explains.
