Chapter 5

Lisa's POV

When I entered our homeroom, it was already half full, I saw Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé at the center of the room and immediately walked toward them.

"Unnies!" I said that caught their attention.

"Oh! Lisa! What took you so long?" Jisoo unnie asked me.

"I went for a jog earlier this morning and lost track of time" I explained.

I sat at the seat next to Rosé, in front of Jennie and diagonal to Jisoo. We started talking about random stuff, mostly about my unnies crushes and I was shocked to hear the news about Rosé having a crush on Jimin.

"What?! Him?" I asked her in disbelief.

I kinda think he's a playboy and I don't want him to disapoint my unnie.

She nodded, "Since when?" I asked her.

"Since the day he beat me at that dance battle" she replied.

"But why?" I asked her, I'm really curious.

"Cuz he's cute, funny, hot, and pretty much a good dancer" she explained, my mouth dropped at her response.

"Girl, check first before you get your hopes too high" I warned her casually.

"Come on, he really seems like a nice guy, Liz" she said while nudging my elbow.

"If you think so" I said.

We kept on talking about random stuff until, suddenly the door opened revealing 7 boys.

Great a whole homeroom with them.

Then I saw Jhope enter, my stomach immediately fluttered.

Why am I like this?

He looked towards our direction and saw me, we made eye contact, then he smiled at me, I smiled back. My heart suddenly beat faster than usual.

I immediately turned away and faced my unnies again, blushing.

"Hey Rosé, isn't that your crush?" Jennie asked looking towards Jimin, "Cuz, I think he's looking at you" she continued in a teasing voice.

Rosé turned towards Jimin, I also did too cuz, I was curious, and he was looking at her. Rosé immediately turned around.

"Omo! He is!" She whisper shouted, then started squealing quietly.

She immediately stopped, when our homeroom teacher came in class.

"OK! Class, today, for homeroom, we're gonna have a short talent show and you're gonna do it by pair" Our teacher said, I got excited at the news.

"Okay! Let's pick your partners the way we usually do" Our teacher said, while pulling out his picking box.

"Let's start with you" Our teacher said pointing at Jackson, who was nearest at the door.

Then students started pulling out rolled paper each until it was Rosé's turn.

"I hope I'll be with Jimin" Rosé whispered to me before she walked to the front.

I hope not.

I thought, but to seem like an encouraging friend I gave her a thumbs up.

She picked a paper and opened it, then she sat back next to me, it was now my turn.

I went to the front and put my hand in the box, I got hold of a paper, then took it out. I slowly opened it, revealing a number 7.

I wonder who'll be with me this time.
