A/N: Invitation sa 18th birthday ni Ree yung nasa gilid. >>>

JULIA
After Tito Ricardo at Tita Aleena talked about their daughter, Ree; her achievements, ambitions, goals and how a good daughter she is. After that a video presentation about Ree through the years started to play. I chuckled at the sight of us together when we we’re in the 1st year of High school; with me with my short curly hair and eye glasses, and Ree in hair bob cut hair and her braces.
He poked me. And I just raced an eyebrow at him. “I’ve forgotten how you looked in your short curly hair and glasses! Di na ko sanay.” He said too happily for someone like him.
“Is that a compliment or an insult?” I inquired.
He poked me again. “Ansunget ah! Partner na tayo’t lahat sinusungitan mo pa rin ako!” then he pouted.
“Pa-cute ka na niyan?” I still answered plainly, void of emotion. But truth be told, I’m laughing inside.
“Now what’s wrong with you! Bat di gumagana yung mga charms ko sa’yo?” He complained, parang bata lang.
“Para ka namang bata. Di ko magets kung bat andami mong nauutong babae.” I rolled my eyes, then smirked.
“Nauuto ka diyan! Sa gwapo kong ‘to ba naman :)))”
“Wow, ang hangin bigla parang Signal no. 5 na!” I countered.
Our conversation suddenly broke when we heard the emcee spoke again.
“Without further ado, let’s all welcome our princess of the night, Reeselie Marie Antoinette Beltran y Renaldo. Accompanied by her escort, Mr. Zacharias Chase Salcedo. Let’s give them a round of applause.” Everyone clapped as Ree and her partner, Zach walked towards the center; all eyes on both of them.
I immediately looked towards Toffer to check his reaction. But all I could see is that he’s staring at Ree blankly. I couldn’t read his face, or his eyes. I just sighed.
“He’s angry.” Brix said, staring at Toffer’s direction too.
“How did you –“
“Well he’s my friend after all.” He grinned at me.
I just stared at him. He really knows Toffer. He really knows Toffer well.
“Of course I know him!” Wait did I just say my thoughts out loud?
“No, I just know what you’re thinking.” Then he winked at me. Gah, is he a psychic? How can he read my mind?
“And no, I’m not a psychic or any sort.” He laughed.
“Nakakairita ka!” sabay kurot sa kanya.
“Aray masaket!”
“Weirdo!”
“At least wala akong PMS di tulad ng iba diyan!” he teased me as he rolled his eyes.
“The great Stephen Brix just rolled his eyes! Parang bakla lang ha? Kung sila Toffer at Luis ang gagawa niyan walang nakakagulat dun.” I said sarcastically sabay tawa ng malakas.
“Sa wakas napatawa ko na rin kita!” he grinned. I blushed at that. Who wouldn’t? His signature smile that made every girl fall for him. Hopefully :)
