My last dance came up. It was Zach. And I’m really thankful that he’s my escort. He was holding a white rose as he walks towards me. He’s the only one who have white rose from my 18 roses; the rest they gave me red rose.

He was grinning when he went closer to me. I could hear everyone’s cheer habang nagsasayaw kami. Kinilig naman sila sa lagay na yan? :))) The song ‘You and Me’ by Lifehouse is playing in the background.

“Hi hottie!” I greeted him.

“Hey there gorgeous!”

As if reading my thoughts he immediately asked. “What’s wrong?” I didn’t answer.

“Si Toffer nuh?” siya na ang sumagot sa tanong niya. Nag-nod lang ako. He pulled me closer towards me as we continue to dance.

“Sinaktan ko siya Zach!” sabi ko habang niyakap siya. Hini-himas niya lang ang likod ko.

“Ikaw kasi! Heartbreaker ka!” biro pa nito.

“Seryoso nga kasi ako!” nag-pout ako. Tas pinat niya lang ako sa ulo.

“Dapat kasi Masaya ka ngayon! Papangit ka lalo niyan!”

“So pangit ako?”

“Wala akong sinasabi! Ikaw nagsabi niyan!” sabi niya, kaya hinampas ko siya sa balikat.

“Aba! Porket debut mo ngayon nagpapaka-amazona ka na naman!”

“Anyabang mo! Apakan ko yang paa mo eh!”

“Wag, msakit yun! Naka-heels ka kaya!”

“Kaya magpakatino ka!” I grinned.

“Sa wakas ngumiti ka na rin!” sabi niya habang pinisil ang ilong ko. Nag-pout uli ako. “Ano baaa?” protesta ko. At nagtawanan lang kami.

He twirled me at twirl pa ng twirl hanggang mahilo na ko. Pero di pa rin siya tumigil.

“Thank you Zach sa lahat! Para kang guardian angel ko na bumaba sa lupa. :">”  sabi ko, ramdam kong namula yung pisngi ko.

“Hindi, you’re my angel. And I’m the devil, you changed me to the Zach I am now. And I really thank God for sending me you.” Sabi niya sabay pisil ng ilong ko. Kinilig ako dun. Sino bang di kikiligin dun? :>

“Nakakainis ka! Ikaw nga yung angel! Panira.” Pout na naman ako. Kung hobby niyang pisilin ang ilong o pisngi ko, nagiging hobby ko na rin ang pag-pout! Hinawaan niya ko! :D At nag-grin lang siya.

Pero seryoso, super thankful ako kay Lord kasi binigyan niya ko ng isang Zacharias Chase Salcedo lalo na nung panahong kailangan ko ng isang kagaya niya.

Malinaw pa rin sa isipan ko lahat ng mga nangyari. Kung paano kami nagkita at lahat-lahat.

Sino bang mag-aakala na ang isang kagaya ko magiging ka-close ang isang Salcedo! Parang joke nga lang nung una! Biruin mo star player sa basketball ng university namin, ultimate heartthrob! Tas ganito. Pag naaalala ko kung pano kami dumating sa ganito di ko maiwasang matawa :)))))))) …

I got at our university earlier than expected. My dad dropped me off at the nearest gate in our university’s library as he and my mom have a meeting to catch up. I’ve decided to go to the Church first and pray. After that, I took my iTouch out and took the leisure of walking in a slow paced manner towards the library as if having a stroll in a park.

As if on cue, when I was about to turn around the corner someone bumped me. And caused me to land on the floor. It hurts! And I immediately stared to the person who bumped me.

At first I was taken aback with this creature in front of me. I first noticed his chinito-like eyes na color brown, he's tall and his athletic built. How come God created a person perfect as the person in front me? I can't comprehend this. He's just so so so beautiful for my eyes to take.

“Galing ha!” I said sarcastically as I finally got the grip of reality back.

“Sorry, I was in a hurry and didn’t saw you” Said he. I tried to stand up and he offered his hand, and I took it. With great difficulty, I finally stood in front of him and eyed him. I felt some kind of pain in my legs only to realize that I’m bleeding!

“Oh Sushi nooo!” I realize that I’m injured and I immediately went to the nearby bench and sat. I fumbled in my bag for a bottle of water only to realize that I left it in the car. So I tried to walk to find a drinking fountain but there’s this searing pain in my ankle.

“Great just, great!” I said through gritted teeth.

“Just sit down.” He said when I tried to stand up.

“Bu- but I need water. I- I’m bleeding!!!” I said horrified. I had a low pain tolerance that's why a small injury could hurt me so much. What's more kung ganitong na-sprain at nasugatan ako? It's hell. The pain is just pure hell.

 He kneeled before me and grabbed my feet towards him to check my ankle. “I think you sprained your ankle.” He said seriously.

“This is all your fault!” I told myself not to cry, don’t let him have the upper hand from you.

“Really, I’m sorry.” He apologized. But there’s this cold tone that made me mad. And I eyed him.

He took my backpack and lift me with his arms in a princess lift. “Hoy anong ginagawa mo! Ibaba mo ko!”

“Dadalhin kita sa Health service.”

“Nakakahiya! Ibababa mo ko! Ayoko dun! Hoy!” sigaw ko. At Nakita kong pinagtitinginan kami ng mga tao kaya pinakiusapan ko siya sa mahinang boses na ibaba ako, pero tumahimik lang siya.

That’s why I buried my face in his chest para di makita ng tao yung muka ko.

Nang makapasok kami sa Health service, kaagad niya kong dinala sa kwarto na may mga hospital beds.

“She’s injured and na-sprain niya yung ankle niya.” Kaagad niyang sinabi ng may lumapit na nurse.

“No na-sprain mo yung ankle ko.” I corrected him and he glared at me and I just raised my eyebrow with that.

“Okay, go outside first and we’ll treat her.” The nurse said. As he was leaving I grabbed his arm. “Don’t leave me.” I said. I don’t know what he saw in me dahil tinignan niya ko ng matagal tas napagdesisyunan niyang mag-stay.

He just sat at the next bed and watch the whole time as the nurse treated me. Pinigilan kong di umiyak ng lagyan ng nurse ng pang-disinfect yung sugat ko which really stings! This is why I hate hospitals! Mangiyak – ngiyak na talaga ako pero pinigilan ko lang.
