dear kakashi,

i know you're dead, so this is pointless. i'm writing to you to let you know i'm sorry. it's pathetic. i'm pathetic. saying sorry doesn't mean it was okay, you left the world without me saying i love you. saying sorry doesn't mean you'll forgive me. saying sorry doesn't mean you'll still love me tomorrow.

i tried going a year without you, it was hell. not because our daily rendezvous sessions. but because i miss our secretive laughters and smiles in places only we knew. i never covered them up because it reminded me of your lips and when you held onto me. it reminded me of our adventures. it reminded me of how much i loved you. and i still love you, i always will. i'm not saying this because you said it, i'm saying it because i never got to say it to your face. i'll be able to soon.

remember when i wrote 'i'm sorry' about ten billion times on that note? i wasn't apologizing for being sick. i was apologizing for planning an attack on you. i wasn't sick. i was hurt. violated. they wanted you dead and i only agreed because they would hurt my sister. when i finally came to my senses, i turned the tables, i planned an attack on them, to only fail. i lost everything that day. my lips, my skin, my body, my sister. i hated every second of it. i couldn't fight back, i wasn't strong enough. they made me watch my sisters death. they threw her down a river like she was a pebble on the ground, after they gave me back to the village.

we started on august 23rd of 2016, and now i will finally end it on august 23rd of 2018. i'll see you soon, kakashi.

a young woman, satou mina, has been found dead on her bed after overdosing on pills. it has been confirmed as a suicide after a letter to hatake kakashi, which we believe was her boyfriend, was found next to her. kakashi also died this day of last year.
