explantion & thank you

this story was told through kakashi's pov, which i mentioned in the prologue, except for the epilogue because he is dead.

kakashi and mina were both regular customers at their local cafe. they saw each other as the only people reading books and came to an agreement of meeting up after coffee and talk about their novels, of course with a man like kakashi that failed and it switched to making out. they started on august 23rd of 2016 in the morning after coffee. they continued this until august 23rd of 2017 (a year after they started) because kakashi had died.

kakashi died because he had an extremely rare disease, and nobody could cure it. he knew one day he'd die, but he didn't know it would be at his highest peak, when met the love of his life.

when mina found out, she tried going a year without him but realized she couldn't because she loved him so much. exactly a year after his death, mina wrote a letter to deceased kakashi which would be confirmed as her suicide note. she killed herself because she couldn't live without kakashi but most importantly she couldn't live without breaking her promise to her parents to protect her younger sister. she overdosed on august 23rd of 2018.

mina and hana were away from the village and went missing because of an unsafe plan from the akatsuki. she agreed to kill kakashi only because they would hurt her sister. she finally came to her senses and planned a counter attack on akatsuki, hoping it would work. praying wasn't what she needed she needed strength and she realize this after she lost her sister. kakashi didn't know this and pushed it aside but still wondered what happened but never had the courage to ask. it is revealed that they both loved each other very much but they both were afraid of the others response even though they both knew.

i specifically chose for kakashi to die on august 23rd of 2017 because he started having feelings for mina an exact year earlier. mina committed suicide on august 23rd of 2018 because that was when kakashi died.

the story is a sad tale of two people falling in love, i know and i do apologize if i made anyone cry at 2:00am, i did too. i want to thank who ever has been voting, reading and commenting on this story. i hope you enjoyed !!
