Period

I had been in a bad mood all week, I knew I was gonna start my period soon and I was not happy. Jake and I had been dating for several months now so he knew aswell. I knew he knew because he was being extra sweet to me

I woke up that morning and went to the bathroom and sure enough, I started.

"Fuck a duck" I mutter to myself. I walk out of the bathroom and go downstairs to grab some snacks

"Hey babe" Jake said kissing the top of my head

"Hi" I said in a low voice

"You okay? Do you need me to pick you up some stuff?" He asked hugging me

I shrugged and went back upstairs to our room. I turned on Netflix and started binge watching murder and crime shows. I was curled up in a ball on the bed

"Fuck the cramps are real" I say to myself. Soon after Aaron came in to check on me

"Hey y/n, you doing okay? You seemed upset" He asked walking in the room

"I'm fine, I just need some advil or something. Do you think you could grab me some?" I asked

"Sure, I'll go find some" He walked out of the room in search for the drugs. Aaron's like my big brother, he looks after me and checks on me whenever hes concerned or thinks something might be wrong.

A few minutes later he came back with some advil and a glass of water.

"I found some" He walked over and handed them to me, I sat up and quickly took the pills.

"Thanks Aaron, you're a life saver" I said slightly smiling

"Need anything else?" He asked while standing up

"Not that I know of. I'm gonna try and take a nap" I laid back down. He nodded and walked out closing the door behind him. I put on The Magic School Bus so that I would fall asleep to that instead of you know, murder. I quickly fell asleep not long after.

I woke up a couple hours later and headed downstairs. Corey was playing Rocket League with Colby and Sam watching.

"Where's Jake?" I realized I hadn't seen him since I woke up. They all shrugged

"Probably out in town or something" Colby said looking over at me. I nodded and went to the kitchen in search of food. We had a lot but nothing looked good. I decided to just go back to my room and watch Serial Killer documentaries, because that's all I do when I'm on y period.

In the middle of an episode Jake came in with a bag and plopped down on the bed

"Hey babe" He said casually kissing my cheek "I got you some stuff" 

"What'd you get?" I asked concerned because, well, it's Jake

He started pulling things out of the bag "I got you, Chocolate, skittles, gummy bears, juice, coffee, a stuffed animal, some advil, and popcorn" He looked up and smiled at me

"Jake, you didn't have to" I said almost about to cry

"I know I didn't, but I knew you'd be cranky and I wanted you to feel better" He said putting everything on the nightstand. "I'm gonna be taking care of you this week" He sat next to me and pulled me close to him. 

"I love you" I said kissing his cheek

"I love you too" He said kissing my head

The rest of the week he got me whatever I needed/ wanted and he made sure I was happy. He's the best boyfriend anyone could ask for. Everyone deserves a Jake
