"The recording will start at 3 pm today. After that, Yunho sunbaenim said he will treat us some good food." Hansol told them. Jaehyun who was stretching at the side suddenly brightened up at the mention of 'food' and 'treat' in one sentence. "Let's do well guys." Ten cheered and chugged down his mineral water.

The six of them began their practice. Ever since they were announced as part of the SM Rookies, they felt the pressure was getting heavier. Even though they were good friends, they have to fight for the debuts. It was hell. It was worse than hell, even. Sometimes, leaving your friends was the only option.

Truth be told, Johnny was supposed to debut along with EXO but he didn't get into the final cut. He was replaced by his own friend. He doesn't mind though. They were still good friends until today but Johnny knew how guilty that guy felt. That's why sometimes, he doesn't want to believe in Taeyong. Taeyong repeatedly wanting Johnny to debut along with him under the same group. He wanted to make sure it comes true.

But Johnny wasn't confident in that wish.

If he was good, he would already debuted. He won't be stuck here in the dungeon.

The recording went pretty well. They recorded almost 10 times and finally did a group discussion on which one to give to Yunho. This month was Yunho's month. He will be monitoring them. Usually, it would be one of the dancers under SM but they got special treatment since Yunho really likes Taeyong. He said he had the potential of being the best dancer that SM produced.

And that what made Johnny felt even more unmotivated.

The six of them quickly showered and put on some fresh clothes before going to the famous meat restaurant near the building. They served some A+++ meat and they would always spent a lot there. That's why they only come when someone is treating them.

As they were eating and talking, Yuta nudged Johnny's side. "Do you remember that short girl that was lost in COEX?" he asked as he stuffed his mouth with the pork meat. Johnny took a sip on the cider. "Ah, Daeun. Yeah, why?"

"She's very small. I'm still shock," Yuta laughed.

"Who is Daeun?" Taeyong asked, unintentionally hearing the two's conversation. Johnny smiled, without himself noticing. "She was lost.. at COEX. I think she just arrived that day so she didn't buy any internet plan and accidentally got separated with her friend," he told them.

"Ah, foreigner?" Ten chimed in. Johnny nodded. "She was tiny too," Yuta added. "Aren't short girls Yuta's type?" Hansol teased. Johnny coughed a little. "Man, really?? no wonder he kept on waving to her," he laughed. Yuta denied and ate even more.

"Well, it's been awhile since any of us had any girls though," Jaehyun said as his hand reached out to take just cooked meat. "Lol, I don't want to involve in any scandals before debuting. Girls can wait," Taeyong said. "Hahahah dude you don't even socialize that much," Hansol teased Taeyong and the boy pouted. "Shut up. I just don't want to social with them. It's not like I can't social with them.." Taeyong defended himself. Johnny just chuckled at the side.

The boys cared about their career so much. Their passion was no joke.

After eating, they all went out for some fresh air. It was already 8PM. "Urm, guys.. I think I should go first.." Johnny said as he dismissed himself. The others bid goodbye and Johnny waved to them before putting on his earphones.
