Chapter 28

Daeun was walking down the streets when she passed by electronic shop. She saw NCT's MV was being played on the television. A small smile was drawn on her face. She saw how crazily handsome Johnny had got and how crazily famous they got in the past few months.

It was as if if she doesn't support them, it wouldn't be much of a change.

She continued walking down the street while listening to NCT's Night Night. Jaehyun and Johnny had been the DJ for the midnight corner for the past few weeks already and it had been weeks since she listened to it. She listened to it almost everyday.. just to support the beloved him.

Believe it or not, every once in awhile, she would receive mails that consists of concert tickets and plane tickets in her parcel with a sticky note that had J.S written on it. It hurt but that was the only thing she could do for him. Daeun would go to the concert event, cheers along with the fangirls and would longingly stare at Johnny while him trying not to be obvious about it. Even though she always feel like crying whenever the concert ends, but that was the only thing she could do. Support him.

And she could still remember what he wrote in the letter.

Dear my love,

Even though we parted ways like this, I will never consider this as a break up. I didn't stop loving you. I hope you know that. I had to. I had to let you go even though I don't want to let you go. There are people who already knew about us and they are threatening NCT's career. I cant let that happen. I really hope you understand.

i want to hold you again. It's been months but I cant stop thinking about you. I know you wont even reply me or anything and I know I deserve that much for being a shit to you, but I miss you. Thank you for accepting those tickets and come to the concert. Though seeing you like that in the crowd made me felt even sadder but I just want to know that you're doing fine.

One day, one fine day, under a different circumstance, let's meet each other again.

Even if I have to start off being just friend again, let's meet each other again.

The letter was sent after few weeks and she received tons of tickets and invitation to come and she did come to few of them. Yes, she hadn't speak to him unless telling him that she moved apartment and everything. Now that she's working, everything was different. Though there were some people that wanted her number, she didn't give them away.

Because she felt there's some hope between her and Johnny. It's crazy, but she's trying to lock her sanity down.

She took out her phone and opened her chatroom with Johnny. She stared at how much he spammed her. He would always give some random texts to her.it always help her getting through the days even though her chest would throbbed most of the time, she appreciates his efforts and she supports him as a return.

"and that's from us tonight." Jaehyun said in the radio. "we wish you a very goodnight and not to worry about tomorrows as there will always be good things that will happen," "even the tiniest good thing," Jaehyun added. "NCT'S Night Night~" the two of them said in sync.
