It was a short drive to Brandon's house, about ten minuets or so.

I was very curious to how he had his car with him I could have sworn he took the bus this morning.

The car parked smoothly into the drive way and Brandon rushed out of the car.

"Come on, we need to hurry" he said signaling me to come with him.

"Why are you in such a rush?" I asked confused. Why couldn't he have told me this at school?

"I'll explain where no one can hear us. Just follow me, quickly." he mumbled swiftly.

I know it is not smart to follow some one you just met into a empty house. But, how could I resist, I'm a very curious person.

I followed him up stairs and to what I assumed was his room. I entered the room he locked the door behind me.

Crap I thought. I quickly thought of a exit.

"I'm not going to do anything to you don't worry" he said reading my thoughts.

He grabbed a large backpack and started stuffing it with clothes, money, ect. What was he doing? Was he going somewhere? Where was he he going and why was he going there?

Questions flooded my mind as he packed every thing he could into the backpack.

I stood there quietly until he took something from under his mattress. I looked at the object in shock.

"I-Is that a g-gun?" I stuttered. I slowly backed away. He turned to me and nodded speechlessly.

"Brandon why do you have a gun and where are you going!?" I yelled demanding answers.

He put the gun in his backpack. "I'm going to find Erica and I have a gun because this is more dangerous then you think" he answered

"What do you mean?" I asked confused.

"I mean the guy that took Erica isn't a just a crazed serial killer he's much much worse." he answered seriously.

"If he's that bad in not letting you go alone and Erica is my friend to." I responded

He stood there for a second "No" that was all he said.

"I'm coming wether you like it or not."

I said sassily.

"No your not." he said once again.

FIFTEEN MINUETS LATER.

"I can believe I'm letting you come." Brandon said driving me to my house.

"Well you are so shut up about it"

I answered.

"Whatever, where are you going to tell your family your going." he asked

"Don't worry about that I got it covered." I answered as he pulled into the drive way.

My mom was home.

He sighed "Do you remember everything you need to get?"

I nodded getting out of the car and walking to my house.

"Mom I'm home and I need to tell you something" I yelled.

My mom came to me and started listening.

"I got accepted into this school thing and they were supposed to tell us at my old school but they forgot and it's over seas. They are sending someone now so I need to pack." I ran to my room before she could argue with me.

I grabbed every thing Brandon had told me to to. After I got every thing I ran down the stairs.

"Bye mom I'll text you at the airport." I hugged her and ran outside. I jumped into the car as fast as I could.

BRANDON'S POV

"How did it go?" I asked.

"Fine now step on it before she comes outside and notices you don't work for the school." She spoke quickly.

I smirked and sped off threw the street. She clung onto whatever she could get a hold of and I went even faster.

I slowed down and she crossed her arms

"Aw Katie don't be mad" he said widening his eyes.

I stared stayed looking a the dashboard "Bastard" She said obviously annoyed.

"Ouch that hurt you know it's not nice to swear" I said with my hand over my heart in fake hurt. She was still mad but I could have sworn I had seen a small smile appear on her face for a split second.

"So were are we going first?" She asked curiously.

"You'll see" I answered. We were going to the kidnapper's old base, an abandoned warehouse in San Francisco, but, that was a little hard to explain.

There was something I didn't tell her. If I had she wouldn't believe me and once she knows there's no going back.
