Chapter 8

**Hayes POV**

I just received another text.

Unknown: you didn't tell her. So I did. Have fun explaining this one.

There was a picture if hannah and I kissing that she must have taken when she kissed me yesterday.

Shit. I wonder what Kelley thought of that.

"Hayes," I heard Kelley yell as I was halfway down stairs.

"Yeah?" I yelled back.

"Come here. We need to talk!"

I ran back upstairs and saw her stating at her phone, a tear rolling down her cheek.

"I thought you were happy with me," she cried.

"I am. Look, Hannah kissed me," I explained.

"Yeah well it sure looks like you're enjoying it in this picture."

"I swear I didn't try and-," I started.

"No. Just stop. I don't want to hear your lame excuses," Kelley said.

"Kelley I'm so sorry I would never do that to you," I tried to comfort her.

"Just leave," she shouted and pushed me away.

**Kelleys POV**

I kind of just kicked Hayes out...was that a bad thing to do?

"I'm coming back for my stuff later!" he shouted from the hallway.

"Just make sure I'm not here," I yelled back.

Well this sucks.

I decided to clear my mind and text Kate, my best friend that I haven't seen in forever.

Me: remember that girl time you said we should have 3 years ago? let's have it now!

While I waited for a reply, I took a fast shower. When I got out, I put on white highwasted shorts and a flowery crop top. I did my make up and then checked my phone, seeing a text from Kate.

Kate: yaass! I'll pick you up! Where do you live?

I texted her Bradley's address and about 15 minutes later, she came in the house.

I ran downstairs and put some white converse shoes on, grabbed my purse and met her at the door.

"So this is your moms fiancées house?" Kate asked.

"Yeah, it's Bradley Coopers," I said.

"What? Why didn't you tell me this earlier? I am invited to the wedding but I didn't realize she was marrying Bradley Cooper!" she yelled, her voice echoing in the entrance hall.

"Sorry, we kind of lost touch Want to meet him?" I asked.

"Who wouldn't want to meet him? He's hot!" Kate exclaimed.

I called Bradley and he walked to where we were, then I introduced them and after a long time of them talking, I dragged Kate out the door.

"So what are we going to do?" I asked as I sat down in the passenger seat of her car.

"I was thinking shopping on El Paseo?" Kate suggested.

"That's a long ways to drive!" I said.

"Eh, it's worth it. We could stay the night in Palm Springs since it's close, and party!"

"Let's do it! I need to get away from all the shit right now anyways," I said and with that, we were off on a girls weekend.

(3 hours later)

We finally arrived at El Paseo and began at the beginning of the never ending line of designer stores.

First we went into some store that I didn't know the name of, but I found a few cute dresses and a skirt.

When we were done shopping, Kate and I both had at least 10 bags, each from different store, and we spent way more than we should have.

"So, let's hit Palm Springs?" Kate said as she started her car, rolling the top down on her convertible.

"Let's do it!"

We blasted Party Like a Rockstar by Shop Boyz as we sped down the not so busy highway.

"So mind telling me about what happened with you and Hayes? While we were shopping, you mentioned something about him pissing you off, but didn't say anything else," Kate said, turning down Don't Stop by 5sos.

"He kissed another girl and didn't tell me, but then then girl that he kissed told me," I sighed.

"Oh that sucks. Well, forget about it because I'm going to make this a weekend to not forget!" Kate said as she pulled into a super fancy hotel that had a lit up fountain in front and a valet at the door.

He parked our car and also took our bags up to our room after we checked in.

Our room was on the top floor and it was the only one on that floor. It was huge! It had glass windows all around, looking out at the mountains that surrounded Palm Springs. The room was really modern and spacious.

(A/n- if any of you have seen Last Vegas, picture their room looking like the one in that movie)

"Wow, Kate you paid for this?" I asked in awe.

"Anything for my best friend," she smiled. "Now, should we throw a party here or go out and party?"

"Let's party here. But who is going to come? I don't know anyone who lives here," I said.

"You don't, but I do," Kate smirked and then pulled out her phone, calling a bunch of people.

While she was doing that, I went to find a bedroom to put my stuff in and change into something I bought so I looked better for the party.

I changed into a purple sparkly tight dress with matching heels and then walked back out to the main part, only to find about 30 people that looked about 25. They were dancing to music that Kate was turning up and they were getting drinks that the hotel had supplied for us in the room.

More people were coming into our room and it was getting crazy.

Someone tapped on my shoulder and I turned around.

"Kelley? How do you know Kate?" Cameron asked.

"We've been best friends for years! How do you know Kate?" I questioned.

"We used to be next door neighbors, and then I moved. But I told her I was going to be in Palm Springs this weekend, so she invited me," Cam smiled his perfect smile.

"Want a drink?" I asked him, leading him to the bar.

"Sure. Nothing too strong though, I want to remember this night when I wake up," Cam laughed.

I handed him some sort of drink, I didn't exactly know what it was..but I took one for my self and went and sat on the couch, cam following me.

"So why aren't you with Hayes right now?" He asked, taking a sip of his drink.

"We had a fight, but please, let's not talk about him," I pleaded.

"Okay, as long as you two are still together, then it's fine."

"I don't even know if we are or not..i don't really want to be dating him right now. I might love someone else," I confessed.

"And who might that be?" Cam asked.

"You."

A/N- sorry it's kinda short but There's a lot going on! Haha so Kelley and Cam? Whoa..Well hope you like..im bored to i'll probably update again tonight!
