**Kelleys POV**

"Mom don't joke about this!" I said.
She couldn't be pregnant. My mom was like 40. That's too old to have a kid in my opinion.

"I'm not joking Kelley. I really am pregnant. We found out a week ago," my mom said. I saw that she wasn't joking because of the look in her eyes.

"K well we can talk about this later," I snapped and then get up and walked out of their house, not waiting for Hayes.

"Kell, wait!" I heard Hayes call from behind me. Soon after, he grabbed my shoulders and turned me around.

"What?" I asked, annoyed.

"Shouldn't you be happy for your mom? You are finally going to have a brother or sister!" Hayes said, trying to cheer me up.

"First of all, my mom is 40. I am old enough to be my brother or sisters mom! Second, I only wanted a sibling if it was from my old dad too, not Bradley," I said as a tear streamed down my face. Hayes wiped it away with his thumb.

"Things are changing now. Not everything is going to go how you want it to go."

I just sighed and hugged Hayes, my head right next to his heart.

"Maybe you're right. But I'm not going to talk to my mom yet. I don't have to courage to," I said.

"Let's go home," Hayes took my hand and we walked back home.

When we walked in, Kaia came and greeted us.

"Hi girl," I smiled, kneeling down and better her while she licked my face. She always knew how to make me happy.

"Kelley, come here!" I heard Hayes yell from up the stairs.

"Coming!" I replied and then went to where I heard his voice come from, but he wasn't there. "Where are you?" I asked.

All of a sudden, I was pulled into a closet. The light was off so I couldn't see anything.

"Hayes is that you?"

The light turned on and then I stay it was him.

"Why did you bring me in here?" I asked.

"To show you this," Hayes said, and then led me through a door that was hidden. It led to a room. The room had an a-frame shape and the ceiling was kind of low. The walls were white with Christmas lights strung from each side of the a-shape. There was also a mattress with blankets and pillows and a desk. It was really tumblr.

"How'd you find this?"

"I don't know, I was just exploring our house a few months ago. It used to be all gross and boring, but then I fixed it up," Hayes said, taking my hand and leading me over to the mattress. We laid down, our legs tangled together and my head on his chest.

"This is really cool," I said, breaking the 5 minute silence.

"Thanks," Hayes smiled, looking down at me and I looked up at him, also smiling.

"I really love you," I kind of whispered.

Hayes then kissed me, really passionately. After a little bit I pulled away though.

"I'm just not in that mood tonight, sorry," I said, snuggling close to Hayes again.

"It's fine, I'm not really either," Hayes shrugged, but I could tell he was lying.

I turned around to grab my phone to check the time. 7:45.

Hayes put his arms around my torso and pulled me close to him, his head resting on my shoulder. I looked up at him and kissed him lightly, then pulled away.
