The spring of Jeongguk's bed mattress was the last thing I heard that night.
The fact, that due his wonderful ideas, I had to climb over a railing in less than one second, to not getting caught by the owners, made me feel like a small criminal. He was aware of my poor skills, so he didn't take himself a moment to put his hands on my butt to push me up over the railing.
I looked at him with disgust, but without saying a word, since it wasn't the right time to start a discussion.
Beside that he found the ride particularly entertaining, while I literally felt my heart in my throat all the time.
I looked over my shoulder several times, to make sure there were no strange cars with red and blue lights chasing us.
He told me, that he had everything under
control, he seemed also quite credible, except for the fact that he was almost falling asleep on the steering wheel of the car.It almost seemed like a miracle from heaven, when I saw the familiar apartment.
He disappeared from I sight right after the moment he parked and I, on the other hand, didn't hesitate to follow him.
I wore the first thing I found in my room, before I closed my eyes, but my brain was fully awake, my thoughts ended up being about Taehyung.
Thousand of questions and worries tortured my head, until I got a headache, that made it difficult for me to fall asleep.
The night was almost over and the sun wasn't far to come, but I was asking myself If I was the only person who couldn't close an eye because of that.
The fact, that Jeongguk went to sleep carefree reassured me somehow, like it would be a daily routine of them, which I wasn't absolutely used to.
I was just surprised, when I felt the weight of something warm on my waist, when I could smell the sunlight against my skin.
I didn't give weight to it, except when I actually realized, that the thing on my waist was snoring.
I took a big breath for the shook, widening my big eyes blinking few times, making sure I wasn't dreaming or hallucinating, since I literally saw the relaxed visage of my brother, who sat on the floor and used my stomach as pillow, right next to me. His lips lightly parted and a peaceful expression, a fallen angel. His cheeks were lightly blushed, maybe because the effect of what he took few hours ago was vanishing.
What I loved the most was his wavy hair. It was a beautiful soft mess I couldn't not touch.
Remembering what happened few hours ago, I ran my hand through his soft grayish hair.
He didn't hate me.
My heart was literally melting at the sight, in my eyes he seemed sweetly fragile and weak, a person who has to be protected and I knew, that Jeongguk was right. Abandoning him was the last thing I should have done.
I saw him moving and I got immediately up to avoid any awkward situations, what would have happened, seeing what we were saying to each other yesterday. Finding him sleeping right next to me in the next morning was the last thing I expected, what made me even think it wasn't his intention to come to my room.
Standing up, I touched my stomach to hear it grumble, praying for food, and I did not think twice about going to the kitchen.
If there was one thing I loved, it was the tranquility in the morning. Jeongguk and Taehyung, from what I had noticed those days, were mostly active at night. They had a completely different lifestyle, one more animated, intense and dangerous.
