After I got in trouble I went through the next day of school quickly ready to go home and be lazy for the weekend. The weekend is probably my favorite, other than food of course. I was almost home and I got a text and I looked to see who it was, I couldn't help the big grin that spread across my face. It was a simple text but I still couldn't help feel...girly.

"Hey" -Jake

"Heyyy" -Me

"What's up?" -Jake

"Almost home wbu?" -Me

"Not much really, just got home." -Jake

"Sounds fun? Lol" -Me

"Oh yes so much fun lol" -Jake

Okay that wasn't the best conversation but whatever. Everything counts, and that is everything. We kept talkin the whole night and it was great. Do you ever wish that person could be right next to you? Actually smiling, laughing and talking to you? Yeah, well I do too, not all the time but it happens.

I sighed laying back on my bed, smiling like a dork and knowing for sure that things couldn't even get better. Little did I know, I'm only 13 (Almost 14 of course!) I looked at my phone and saw I had a message from Jake again but I decided to just wait awhile, hopefully he doesn't go to bed.

I got up and stretched and went into the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. I frowned at myself and sighed looking down at the sink. I looked back up at my face and I rolled my eyes and said out loud "why can't I be pretty?" And walked out of the bathroom.

I went into the kitchen and opened the fridge looking for a drink and maybe a snack. I got a glass of grape juice and a cosmic brownie and went back into my bedroom, remembering I forgot to reply back to Jake.

I took a drink of my tropical punch kool-aid and opened my cosmic brownie and took a bite. I pulled out my headphones and put those on and looked for a song to listen to.

Some people didn't understand what music can do to you. It can make you happy (or sad) in a blink of an eye. It has a song for every mood and I'm very happy at whoever made music.

I saw Jake replied and I smiled telling him I was now listening to music and that he should be jealous. He responded right away and we went from there and i laughed out loud (lol'd) and then rolled my eyes for being crazy.

I finished up my brownie and laid back in my very soft and comfy bed, still texting Jake of course. It must be one of those times you couldn't stop thinking of that one person. I do that often but rarely do I realize only some last forever and some fade away.

I looked at the time as I sang to my favorite song. Holy crap I thought, one o'clock. Should I go to bed? "Nah" I thought haha and kept texting Jake and some of my other friends.

I started to feel a little sleepy and so I closed my eyes and forgot about replying to Jake.

I guess that's what texting does to you.

I'm continuing the story, thankfully. It feels nice to be able to write maybe not good but it helps.
