PROLOGUE
I looked down at my new notebook. I loved it. It was made of a soft leather which was smooth under my finger tips. It was jet black with stars, a moon, and a quote.
"The sky is not the limit."
I opened it and smiled at the blank pages. Anything was possible. The sky was not the limit.
I wrote my name at the top of the first page. Lilliana May Hart.
Under it I wrote a list. I was a little obsessed with lists. The list was made up of random things about me. Stuff I thought was harmless enough that anyone who picked up my journal could know.
1. People make me smile.
2. I never break promises.
3. Summer is my favorite season.
4. I can't stand people who bully or pick on others.
5. I don't hesitate to stand up for someone. Even when it gets me in trouble.
6. The past is the past and I don't dwell.
7. I'm rarely ever in reality.
8. My thoughts wander.
9. I love mexican food.
10. I've never been kissed.
My list continued in my neat printing. My mechanical pencil broke a few times because of how hard I was pressing on it. It occured to me, when I was finished, that no one would care about me. I shrugged.
I flipped to the next page. At the top, I wrote the title I had bought the journal for.
Tips For Life.
