She paints her lips in the darkest shade of red she can find.

He paints his heart in black to hide the scars.

She wears concealer to hide the marks of simple imperfection that lay on her skin.

He wears a long sleeved shirt in August to hide the scars.

She paints her nails and she puts mascara upon her lashes to make them look more beautiful.

He marks up his skin in hope for someone to realize.

They makeup. They break up.

They both are tired of hiding their bodies under makeup from the society that they know will judge them.

They want to be accepted.

They want to feel like they belong.

They need light under their guises.

They want to feel comfortable in their own skin.

So don't blame them when you see them wearing makeup.

They are hiding from you.

Because you are the ones who  constantly judge them based on their appearances.
