in others' bleak expressions
we seeked acceptance
of mind, body and soul
our deep eyes searched
for unblurred moments
through our camera's lenses
but only found glitch
in the frozen moments
while sitting on the cold sofas
we looked back at these
empty laughs and tired smiles
when we were stood with the ones
we pretend to
and now here we are
light and colours leaking out;
devoid of life
searching for the love
