Its Because Of Addison

This is my new family

I rolled over in the bed and Carl wasn't there which scared me a little bit because I was in an unfamiliar place. I sat up and looked around I didn't see Carl anywhere, I saw some clothes laid out on the chair so I quickly picked them up and went to the bathroom to take a fast shower and to change. I got out of the shower and threw on the t-shirt and leggings then put my hair up in a messy bun. I walked out of the bathroom and slid on the tennis shoes that were there with the clothes.

I made my way downstairs where I was heard laughing. I found my way outside to everyone sitting around a big table. Once I got closer Rick says "Good Morning Addison, how did you sleep" Carl chimed in coming by side "Here sit down by me and eat some breakfast". I still hadn't answered Rick's question but Carl insisted on introducing me to everyone including his little sister who didn't want to leave my lap.

I looked over at Rick from across the table he was passing out food with Glenn and Daryl and said "Sorry Carl distracted me, I slept good I guess. Do you need any help"? Rick walked over to where Carl, Enid, and I were and was setting down our food when he responded "Addison I just want you to relax and not worry about anything. I'm so sorry for what happened, but I'm so positive that you will love it here, we would love to be your new family if you'll have us. Do you mind feeding Enid, she has really taken a liking to you"? As a tear streamed down my face Carl put his hand on my thigh to reassure me and I said to everyone "Thank you all for welcoming me into your family and for looking out for me" various people said your welcome and of course we will protect you. Carl kept his hand on my thigh for the duration of breakfast while everyone had small talk and was just spending time together as if they had nothing to be scared about.

After breakfast, Carl was showing me around hand in hand while Enid was attached to my hip. It was time for Enid to have her nap so we went back to the house and I was rocking with her in the living room while Carl was making us some lunch in the kitchen. I walked into the kitchen after putting Enid in her crib and wrapped my arms around Carl's waist while he was at the stove cooking lunch when he say's to me "Michonne will be coming in to have lunch with us and to stay with Enid while I take you to Maggie to get some new clothes". I took a step back and Carl lifted me up onto the island that was behind me. He stepped closer to me and I wrapped my arms around his neck and he had one hand on my thigh and the other around my back.

He leaned in to kiss me and I could feel the warmth of his breath as he inched closer to my lips and then our lips were connected and were moving in sync with each other. The kiss was getting more and more intense by the second and we pulled away at the same time but kept the closeness between us while trying to catch our breath. Michonne walks in says while laughing "Get a room or at least finish lunch first". We both started laughing and went on to finish lunch and to go on with the day.
