"I know ma, but I can't just go up to him and be like oh you gotta baby," I said playing with a toy with baby Tae.
"So what you go do, let Tae grow up not knowing who his daddy is, lying to him his entire life? I think the fuck not. Just because your dad wasn't around doesn't mean Tae should grow up not knowing his. You the one who opened up your legs to him now it's your responsibility to tell that boy he gotta child."
"First off mama "THAT BOY" gotta name and it's Xavier," I said defending his name. Ever since my mama found out I was pregnant for him she stopped liking him. "Secondly, don't put daddy in this he loved me and he would've been there for me but you decided on your own to not let him be around me, our situation is so different."
Before I left to go visit my dad for the last time me and Tae shared a moment.
Flashback
I was spending the night at Tae's house and we were playing 2k.
"All you need is one point Curry" Tae repeated, and with that, the ball went through the net.
"Hell no, that was bullshit, that was bullshit" Tae yelled. "Even my player went down on the ground" he added.
All I could do was laugh. "You big mad or lil mad."
He smirked then picked me up and body slam me in the bed, which turned into us play fighting. I kept on touching his butt.
"Next time you touch my ass ima touch you," he said looking between my legs at where he was going to touch me. I left him alone for a lil bit and watched t.v. and he was now laying on his stomach, so I smacked his butt. He got up off the bed and looked down at me for a second, then he took his hand down there. Y'all should know what happened next cuz two months later I found out I was pregnant. ____

"William? I gotta stop by my house to get something.'' I told him driving into my neighborhood.
"Alright but what are we doing later? I want to get to know you better." He chuckled. He leaned over and placed kisses on my neck.
"W-will-iam st-stt-op." I moan out. "I'm driving."
"Pull over then ma," he said with his strong accent.

"You gone come in I might take awhile," I said straightening up. I looked in the mirror and I saw a big ass hickey Kid left on my neck. "Look at what you did," I whined pointing at it.
"What they are called love marks." Kid chuckled.
"That's not funny let me see your jacket," I said trying to cover the hickey up.
"Why do you want to see my jacket."
"It's cool outside and I'm anemic." I lied. "Never mind I got one," I said realizing I had one in the backseat. I hurried to put the jacket on and tried my best to hide the hickey because they were waiting and we were already late. "Come on, I don't want you in here by yourself," I said opening my door.
"What you got to get out here that's gonna have you in there for a while," he questioned.
"Well since you must know, I don't want to eat up all Tick's snacks so I'm bringing some from home and I gotta get some clothes," I said unlocking the door.
"Dang, it feel like ian been in here in forever," he said following behind me.
"Turn the lights on, they are over there," I said pointing at the lights.
"SURPRISE," everybody screamed out.
Kid had jumped a bit. "Don't be jumping out on a yungin and shit, know I got a bad heart." Kid laughed holding his chest.

Xavier POV
"Hey Tae."
"What do you want?" I said in a stern voice, not looking at her.
"I wanted to talk but it's clear I'm not welcome around you." Her soft angelic said.
I don't care about her being sad she left us without no explanation in the world. Why would I care if her feelings are hurt? I don't care about her feelings.
"Hey Lani come take our picture," Melton said coming our way.
"Sure," Lani said pulling out her phone.
When she turned her screen on I could see a picture of a little boy as she unlocked her phone.

He kind of look like me when I was little. I looked up at Lani and she just stared at me. I walked away and she tried to follow me.
"Tae, listen let me explain," she said grabbing me. "No need, what's his name" She paused before speaking, "Tra'monta Xavier Medrano but we call him Tae just like you" she said looking down and playing with her fingers. I huffed, "Whenever you're ready my number is still the same," I said before walking off.
