Aaliyah jumped up out of her sleep. It was just a dream? Her body throbbed as if it was real.
If it was it was only part of it. Aaliyah often had night terrors of her cousin Sonny dying. She was only fourteen at the time and Sonny was just a year younger but Aaliyah was super protective of her. One night Sonny begged her to go to a house party on 6th and brown, one of the most crime filled streets. She asked her everyday up until that night, Aaliyah gave in. A fight broke out and of course there was a shoot out. Wounding a few but only killing two and of course it had to be Sonny. Aaliyah used to have them every night back then but after she started dealing with her grief they only happened ever so often.
She layed back down and checked her phone. No missed calls, no texts, just Instagram notifications. As she dozed back off she felt someone climb in the bed.
She assumed it was her mom just drunk as hell, the only time she'd feel soft with her.
She then felt them wrap their arms around her waist and lay on her legs.

She felt weird yet comfortable. This all happened so quickly she was just going with the flow. Justin had been there all her life and so had their unspoken intimate feelings for one another, hearing him call her baby sent her through the roof.
"I, uh. He basically been living good with out us. We barely making it while he out with a whole new family doin it big. That nigga he ain't feel bad he just wanted to brag on some real shit. Just straight shit on us dog." Her voice started to crack.
"I got so mad...." She was trying to get the words out.
"Come on, it's ok." He pulled her in.
"I got so mad, his daughter was just standing there, there just carefree no fuckin worries not givin two fucks and I just wanted to beat her ass.... I yelled at her and uh. He called me a crazy bitch." She sniffled. "I don't even remember this nigga, he wasn't there for shit, don't you ever speak on me like that."
Justin was pissed. Tony and Aaliyah were his family and he understood why Tony was m.i.a but he knew exactly where he was.
"Cuban, you are crazy. Crazy beautiful, crazy intelligent and shit just crazy but fuck that bitch ass nigga. Y'all don't need that nigga. We got each other." He squeezed her and she nodded, wiping her tears.
Tony It was still raining outside as Tony knocked on the side door of Tink's house. Finally she came to the door rubbing her eyes and sliding it open for him.
"Baby what the fuck." She groaned closing the door behind him.
He took off his shoes and looked for the drawer he stashed his stuff in whenever he'd sneak into her house to sleep over.
"I had to move your stuff babe, look in the closet..... and my parents are out of town. I thought I told you that.... Now you're soakin wet from standing in the rain." She spoke as we went pacing around her room while changing.
"Damn can you stay still?!"
He finally looked over at her slouching over the bed with her head tilted eyeballing him.
"I'm sorry baby." He grabbed her face and kissed her before plopping down next to her.
"Yo ass gone be ashy, put some lotion on or something." They both bursted out in laughter. "I love yo goofy ass."
"I know boy." "Don't play with me." "I love you too dawg chill." She laughed while playfully hitting him.
He changed into some fresh clothes as Tink played a shooting game on his phone. "GOT YA LIL BITCH!" She screamed out loud making him jump a little.
"Baby what the fuck, yo violent ass." He snatched the phone out her hands, making her smack his arm. "Boy what the fuck don't snatch!" "Get fucked up!" He pinned her against the wall making her squeal with laughter.
"You laughing at me like im some type of clown." He joked. "You corny dude." She laughed some more as he let her go.
Tink was the only person Tony was fully affectionate and fun with. He always felt like he had to be serious and strong for everyone else but Tink was his rock.
They laid up to watch Ghostbusters but all Tony could think about was his dad. It started thundering and Tink jumped while snuggled under him but he didn't move a muscle.
"Baby?" She turned to him and her voice snatched his attention.
"I'm sorry baby come on." He pulled her in his arms. "What you thinkin about you been acting weird since you got here. He began to recite all that happened today.
"Damn, why'd he come back after all this time?" "I don't even wanna think about it man, I get repissed, the man probably glad he ain't gone have to pay child support on Aaliyah even though he wasn't paying that shit before. He really ain't gone be legally obligated to deal with us but why show the fuck up then?"
"Babe.... I can't, I can't breathe." Tony was squeezing her as his anger rised. "Shit I'm sorry." He jumped up patting her back.
"You should be checking on your sister Tony." Tink drunk some water. "....She won't even look at me. Man I don't know what the fuck been goin on with her."
They eventually went back to watching the movie. Tony traced her stretch marks on her thighs and kissed her neck. "Babe stop." She giggled but let out a few moans. "Nah you don't want that. You still on the BC?" He grinned.
