"I can't believe I'm in this bitch." Aaliyah pulled her hoodie up and crossed her arms.

"Bro you the one who said we in here cause you just got a cold, and then you got the nerve to have on them glasses with that bright ass jogging suit, making you noticeable as fuck." Chanel laid sprawled out on the couch scrolling down her timeline.
"Brooo my fuckin videos been taking off tho." She laughed out loud and continued to be glued to her phone.

"Aaliyah Jackson." They both sat up straight.
"Take it easy on her please she hates this place." Chanel walked her up to the door.

Aaliyah started feeling nauseous as the nurse took her to the room. The nurse would try to make small talk but every step felt heavier.

"Well um here's the room." She opened the door for Aaliyah.

"So what's going on Aaliyah."
She took a deep breath and explained everything that's been happening to her.

"So you don't think I'm pregnant do you? I'm too young and I just can't do that shit you know."
"Well honey I certainly will figure that out and see what we can figure out with the doctor."

She ran some tests and drew blood from her then walked out.

Aaliyah's foot bounced up and down as she looked around the small room. She felt cooped up and uncomfortable.
"Fuck this shit." She pulled her jacket back on and paced the room deciding if she should actually leave.

"Ok." She took a deep breath and opened the door.
"Well Hi Aaliyah, were you going to the restroom or something?" The nurse had returned with the doctor.

"Naw, I was just uh cold." She turned around and sat back down.

"Well Aaliyah, it looks like you honestly just have the stomach flu. It's serious but after resting up and taking what I prescribe you'll be just fine."
The doctor continued to explain Aaliyah's health and what she should do but she just tuned out.
She felt sad but she didn't understand why.

The doctor rested his hand on her shoulder making her snap back.

"Uh yea that's my Walgreens." She scurried out of the room and ran to the nearest bathroom.

Aaliyah slid down on the wall.

"Aaliyah you sure you're ok?" Tink kept peering over Aaliyah as they drove to the spot.

"Yes Tink."
"You've been really off lately, you're a smart girl the only way you're going is up. I don't know if it's school, friends, family, or niggas but seriously I know you'll be just fine. I'm not used to us not talking. I mean Tony has been losing his damn mind for only the Lord knows why, you're on mute, like nobody is on the right page. Y'all the main family and friends I got so somebody need to tell me some shit." She croaked and Aaliyah felt bad.

"Come on Tink man, ain't nothing goin on with me. Tony ain't saying shit to me either he's never home." She shrugged.

"Ok." Tink responded dryly and turned the radio up clearly aggravated.

Aaliyah sunk down in her seat rolling her eyes.

They arrived and Tony was waiting outside for both of them.

"There go my girls." He grinned holding arms out for a hug.
Tink eye balled him for a while before embracing him.
"The fuck you so happy for?" Aaliyah scrunched up her face.
He pulled away from Tink and rested his hands on Aaliyah's shoulders.
"We are so close baby girl, so close to that picket fence. We gone get the fuck out here soon."
They shared a long hug.
"Stop playing Tony."
"We won't be here for long I swear. First the house, then vacations, alladat. It's our time!"

The girls exchanged a suspicious glance but nothing Tony noticed.
"Whatever you say boy." Tink giggled and followed him in.
