Loving someone means be ready to give up everything

Anna's bedroom

Kaila came in the room with a dish of risotto which she putted on the nightstand and sat next to her depressed friend, lying in the bed, showing her back.

"Eat something" She said.

"Not hungry..."

"Anna, are you gonna die of hunger for something like this dog? And I made you my wonderful speciality, you'll not let it rot here?"

"I know K but... I'm just not hungry... Sorry..."

"Look at me."

Obedient, she lifted her head toward her friend: she was very close to her, a piece of chicken on the mouth.

"Ishya don' eat, I ill nouwish ya wyselsh."

This stupid bird-like act made Anna smile and she finally catched the meat directly from her friend's mouth.

"Okey, I'll eat."

"Thanks." She said while petting her head.

After finnishing her dinner, Anna, still in her bed, was deleteing all her ex's pictures, crying. Not able to stay stoic while her best friend was crying, Kaila came to sit at the free place on the double mattress.

"Sorry K, I promised you not to cry but..." She started.

Acting like a child, Kaila started to play with the blonde's free hand.

"I know, Anna... If you want, I know lot of guys way better than this asshole who cheated on you."

"Thank you K but I think it's too early."

"Yeah, you right... But as soon as you're ready and want to go out with someone, just tell me and I'll help you."

When she wanted to get up to go in her room, her friend tightened the hold on her fingers.

"Yes?" She asked.

"Can you sleep with me tonight? I don't want to be alone now..."

"Of course." She whispered, smiling

While the young asian was installing under the blanket, Anna putted her computer on the floor, without breaking the link between their fingers. Both of them were watching the other one in the eyes,silently, smiling.

"Kaila? Asked Anna.

"Yes?" Answered her friend."

"Thanks for always been here for me."

"I'm your best friend, I have to."

Oncea gain, the silence came into the room.

"Kaila?" Asked Anna again.

"Yes? Answered again her friend"

"You're my best friend ever."

"You too."

"I love you."

"Me too."

Gently, they started to laugh then finally fell asleep.
