'I Love You' : Fool Words

Chapter 1

Myrna and I helped the children dress well because our sponsors will be coming here at 3 in the afternoon. After we helped the kids, we went down to the kitchen to help Sister Amy cooking her best apple pie and super yummy lasagna. I may have taste various foods as I was there, but eating together with this big family makes the food tastiest in the world.

"Allene, what will you wear later?" Myrna asked.

"The dress that Sister Felicia gave to me last Christmas..I like it so much." I said with a smile.

"Me too! I'll wear the dress Sister Felicia gave me. Although we wear it a lot, it means a lot to us." She grinned.

Even though Myrna and I have work, we still visit our home. This is our home and this is where we grew up.

We help Sister Amy prepare the ingredients and cook the food.

After a longwhile of cooking and chatting together, we didn't notice the time.

"Myrna! It's already an hour before three!" I exclaimed.

"Oh my God, I didn't notice. Sister Amy, we'll get going. We'll be back before three." She said to Sister Amy as we walk out the orphanage.

I went to my car and turned my engine on. I opened my window to glance at Myrna who is already in her car too. I wave my hand at her signaling that I'll go ahead.

I drive down to my apartment silently and got there in 10 minutes.

I enter my apartment and take a short shower.

I wear the dress that Sister Felicia gave me and it still fit me. Luckily, I didn't gain weight nor lose. I dried my hair and put on some lip tint. Well, I don't like putting make up because it feels hot and I'm not used to it. I just apply some baby powder on my face because if feels cool to my face. I put on my flats and I'm ready to go.

I drove back to the church and walk a while to the orphanage. I hear cute giggles from children and some are laughing. Maybe some of the sponsors arrived?

I quicken my pace on walking and found Daniel.

"Oh look, who's here." He said with that handsome smile of his.

Well, Daniel is quite good-looking and he is hot. Yes, I admit that because it's the truth. Girls won't stop swarming around him when we were in high school.

"Hey Daniel, long time no see!" I greet him back and hug him.

"Yeah Allene, so, how's life?" He asked.

"Well, just fine. I heard you brought your girlfriend? Introduce me to her. Come on!" I said excitedly.

"Okay, okay. Diana!!!" He shouted.

And there I find a beautiful human being walking towards us. Wow. She is so pretty, like an angel.

"Diana, meet Allene, one of my sisters here. Allene, she's my Diana." He said with a blush.

"Hi Allene, nice to meet you." She extended her arms to shake mine and smiled widely.

I took her hand and shook it.

"Nice to meet you too, Diana. I hope our baby boy here doesn't bother you." I smiled looking at Daniel who's not happy as I teased him.

"Allene!" Daniel exclaimed.

Diana and I laughed together.

As I walk inside the orphanage, I can see Myrna already here, my brothers and sisters, and the kids all ready.

I noticed something on the wall. Pictures? I go near it and notice that it was our graduation picture together and our solo toga pictures with our names under and the degree we finished.

I saw my picture there and it make me feel proud. Proud that I was able to finish college with true hardwork and determination. I feel so excited and at the same time, nervous because I'll see the sponsors who helped us go to school.

"Okay kids! Listen! Now, our sponsors will visit here and I want everybody to behave and be respectful okay? " Sister Felicia explained.

Then all of us agreed.

Suddenly, I heard voices coming from the entrance and I do believe that one of the owner of the voice is Father, and I can hear many voices. I doubt they're many.

Then the door opened and there entered four beautiful women, 3 middle aged men and 2 young handsome men.

All of us in the orphanage are quiet except for Sister Felicia and Amy and Father.

"Boys, girls, let me introduce to you our sponsors who helped us and who share their blessings to us kindly." Father said.

We all say thank you together and suddenly the door opened, and there I saw familiar faces.

Faces that I want to see but I don't want to.

Faces that left me a very long time ago.

Faces that I don't want to see standing in front of us.

"Oh, girls and boys, also our sponsors...Mr and Mrs....."

I excused myself and got up. They didn't saw me and it's better to avoid them. I went straight to the kitchen and drank water.

Why? Why are they here?
