'I Love You' : Fool Words

Chapter 4

When I was in the kitchen, I could hear everybody talking happily and my body suddenly trembled from the voices I heard.

I could not bare any time but both my feet drag me to the back exit of the kitchen. I ran outside and made my way to my car without saying goodbye to them. I can feel my body shaking and felt my cheeks wet.

I cried again.

Ring...ring...ring...

My phone rang and I saw the caller ID. It's Myrna. I pick up the phone.

"Hello, Myrna?" I said shakily.

"Don't hello me! Where are you? You suddenly disappeared! You didn't even say anything before walking out! You know Allene next time-" I cut her off.

"M-myrna, please not n-now..I'm begging you...p-please don't tell them..I..I can't d-do it...please!" With that, my tears burst out and I sobbed out heavily.

"W-what? What are you talking about? And why are you crying? Where are you right now? I'll go there!" She worried.

"No, I'll tell you later. I'll be fine...I'll tell you later, okay? Don't worry. Just enjoy there, okay?" I said assuring her.

"O-okay.." she replied.

I ended the call and started to drive off to my apartment. As I arrived, I cried my heart out heavily not noticing I felt asleep.

Myrna's POV

I felt worried about Allene. I don't know the reason why but I feel something's wrong. But, as her bestfriend, I should trust her. Every time she'll say that she's okay, she is. I should probably enjoy this meeting with our sponsors.

As I looked at the sponsors, they look so rich and I think I saw them somewhere. And they look familiar? I mean, I think I knew somebody that looks like them?

"Myrna? Where's Allene?" Sister Feli asked.

I was quite surprised and tried my best to talk to her naturally.

"Sister Feli, she suddenly went to her apartment because she is not feeling well. I was worried about her. But she said she'll be fine, but I'll visit her later." I said honestly to Sister.

"Really? Oh God. But she can handle it right? We have visitors and we cannot take care of her and- " I cut her off.

"Sorry to cut you off Sister but, Allene said she'll be fine and also, she can take care of herself now. Let's just visit her later okay?" I said.

She nodded. And suddenly two people approached us.

"Sister Felicia? May I know who is this beautiful lady here? " asked the male.

The lady smiled at me and I smiled at her too.

"Oh, Mr and Mrs Ferrer..this is Myrna..Myrna, this is Mr and Mrs Ferrer, one of our sponsors, they're the owner of the Ferrer International." Sister said.

I shook their hands as they offered to me and gave them a warm smile.

"Nice to meet you Ma'am, Sir! Thank you for always supporting us!" I smiled happily.

Now, I knew that they looked familiar. Their family is one of the richest in the world. Their family is very famous. I've seen them once on a tv show. Wow.

"I saw your toga picture there on the wall, and you seem to finished your studies well. Good job! We're so proud of you!" Mrs Ferrer said happily.

I smiled warmly at them.

"It's all from your support and help to us. Words aren't enough to thank you guys! " I said happily staring at them.

" You're welcome dear, uhm, can I ask you? " Mr Ferrer asked.

"Of course Sir, what is it?" I replied.

They both stared at each other and went to the walls of our achievement and they look at Allene's picture.

"Where is she? This girl who is a summa cum laude? Is she here with us today?" Mrs Ferrer asked.

" Ah, you mean Allene? She's not here with us today because she is not feeling well. It's unfortunate. We have great achievements but she, she is just one of a kind. Very intelligent woman." I said with admiration.

"Oh, we want to meet her too. But, maybe sometime. We'll definitely be back." Mr Ferrer said, sadly? I don't know why, but his eyes said it all.

They thanked me and they went to the children.

I stared back at Allene's picture and realize one thing.

Oh God. They looked like Allene. Don't tell me they're?

I was going out to call her but suddenly, someone called me from the back and turned around to look who's the owner of the voice.

Lord God Jesus.

He is so so so so very very handsome!

"Yes? What can I help you Sir?" I asked formally.

"Uh, I just want to ask you if you know her?" He said while pointing at Allene's picture.

I nodded and I saw his happy reaction? Oh wow, why is everybody asking about Allene? Oh no.

I know why.

No.
