Chapter Six

Nye's POV

As I walked into the dining room I was hit with the delicious scents of appetisers. From homemade biscuits and dip, to homemade slices and cakes.

It was mouthwatering!!

As I sat down at one head of the table after greeting Princess Mahpari. I noticed Laura wasn't present. Just as I was about to voice my thoughts, Laura walked through the door that lead into the kitchen covered in flour and butter and smelling like heaven.

There is one time lady's may speak without being addressed. When they are announcing what the table is having at meal times.

"Please enjoy the appetisers, the main course will be ready shortly. There will also be a selection of desserts after the main course."

"Thank you Princess Laurallia" Prince Nikolaos replied, beckoning his daughter closer. "Go and get changed now, I know everything is perfectly under control." Laura smiled and bowed her head in acknowledgement and hurried out of the room.

I sat the dumb struck. Princess Laura was the chef?. I had no idea she was even interested in cooking, let alone the fact that she could cook so well!

Laura's POV

I rushed from the dining room ashamed of my appearance. I looked disgusting with flour and butter. And the look on Prince Aneurin's face! Disgusted. He must of thought I looked like a common house maid!

I quickly stripped out of my once alright, coloured coordinated clothes and showered. I then called one of the maids to help me dress. I was not going to wear simple clothes I would look as beautiful as my sister! It only took us 5 minutes. And then I slowly went back and entered the dining room.

I almost laughed at the expression on Prince Nye's face. Complete shock! I kept my composure and took my seat next to Prince Nye. My usual seat would be the right hand side of my father but because the Prince was here to get to know me, my new seat was at the right hand side of him. Where it would be if I were to marry him.

Nye's POV

I made polite conversation with Prince Nikolaos as I sat and savoured the delicious appetisers! I could not believe Princess Laura had made all of this! Suddenly Prince Nikolaos became extremely serious.

"What is your true purpose for wanting to marry my daughter?"

"Well Nick" yes we were on nick name basis. Most royals are. "Laura is my inamorata"
