Chapter Seven

Nick's POV

Suddenly everything clicked into place.

Nye was always great friends with Laura.

I just thought it was because even young, Laura was beautiful. She was the most beautiful child in Erililia.

But now I see, even then Nye could feel the bond.

A faery's true soul mate are called;

inamorata, a males soul mate

and inamorato, a females soul mate.

A male faery can find their soul mate when he turns 13, the female will feel the bond when the male kisses her. Female faery's who hasn't found her soul mate can find him when she turns 21.

I actually am pleasantly surprised. Nye is a strong leader. He thinks with his brain. He wants to marry my daughter because he loves her.

"Well then" I answered after a few minutes.

"You have my blessing"

Nye's POV

I was getting nervous as I watched Nick process what I just said.

I couldn't help but smile. He not only approves of this proposal, he gave me his blessing!

I could have been the happiest man alive.

Did I forget to mention I am turning 20 this year?

The table then relaxed once again into light chatter about nothing in particular. A few minutes later Laura was standing at the doorway.

I couldn't believe my eyes! In a few minutes Laura had become even more beautiful then when she was covered with flour and butter.

The innocence was gone.

This was a woman.

Her dress was tight, perfectly fitting her curves, it had a sweetheart neckline with an overlay of lace, which extended into sleeves. The dress stopped just above her knees. Classy. It was the most beautiful colour blue that matched both her eye and hair. Tall slim black heels and a blue face scarf perfectly rounded off the outfit.

I am the luckiest man alive.

My beautiful inamorata did not only cook a beautiful dinner to welcome me. But is also the most beautiful woman I had ever set eyes on.

I was truly in love. And it was an amazing feeling.
