Monday came around to quick for Carlisle, he slipped into his clothes but the longer he looked he decided it just wasn't good enough. A pair of beige slacks and a white cotton button up, sleeves rolled up to his elbows and the top buttons undone giving him an effortlessly casual yet put together looks. He tucked his shirt in and fastened the belt properly. Sheridan had come to the house at three but luckily she missed everyone getting home. Alice darted up the stairs excited to meet the new girl she was going to call her best friend soon. Their conversation could be heard by everyone in the house. The Cullens couldn't help but light occasionally at some of the things that came out of Sheridans mouth. Alice slowly sauntered down the stairs holding a pair of shoes and a necklace.

"Jasper, do these match my dress. Sheridan literally pulled random things out of her bag and made the cutest outfit. I feel like I can't find anything that matches."

"They look lovely together, you always have amazing style, it's like your trademark."

"You should look at Sheridan, she's like a style goddess at this point. I've never seen someone just be able to throw on whatever and look amazing." Alice pouted lightly as she sat next to Jasper wondering how the human girl was so talented with clothing.

"For the love of God Sher, stop chugging beers it's not even 8:00 and no one is coming toll 9:00."

"Don't say that and I called your father hot on the phone and he heard me. I have to go and look him in the eyes right away. I'll drink as much as I please to make it through."

Emmett burst out laughing at the statement everyone had tuned into. Edward was attempting to be more subtle but was clearly failing.

"Calm down, he's not going to say anything about it. I feel like you give off the vibe you like old men anyways. He's probably more worried about you calling George Clooney your husband."

"Don't say that, people aren't suppose to know that about me. Lets just pretend it never happened and maybe I won't die when I look at him. Now tell me my boobs look big in this dress."

The family ignored the rest of their conversation and quickly looked over at Carlisle who had a small smile plastered on his face.

"Did she really say you were hot over the phone?"

"Yes, it was quite amusing. I'm sure meeting her will be interesting." His foot tapped quickly in anticipation. The thoughts of this girl coming down the stairs, what she looked like, whats she wore, they wouldn't go away. He wondered why everyone sounded so awestruck by her when they spoke of her. Time went by unnoticed and soon enough the sound of heels clicking along the wooden stairs was heard. Rose was first to be seen in an emerald green romper and black heels. The moment that all the men in the house had been waiting for. Tan legs came into view as Sheridan descended the stair case. Her tan skin jumped out against the white walls and white heels she wore. Her dress was short but not tight everywhere, it was taught around the gentle curved of her body and tight around her chest. Both girls walked slow in an effort to avoid tumbling down the stairs to to they uncontainable laughter. Even Rose stumbled slightly on the last few steps.

With Sheridan so close in their sights everyone was caught up on her. Alice and Rose took no offence to their awestruck looking boyfriends, they to had the same reaction when they first met her. Carlisle felt the odd flutter of his heart and breath catch in his through. The faintest feeling of the familiar thumping of a heart was felt in his chest. Of course a figment of his imagination but still it felt real. He stayed quiet, unable to form words as his eyes traced every single line her body showed off. Committing ever crease to memory. The girl in front of him, wearing a cherry red dress was something else. She smelt like flowers and her body screamed at him to touch it. She had yet to open those plump lips of her but the old vampire longed to hear her speak.
