As I got of the train I saw my mom's old beady friend from college Becky. She saw me and waved. I haven't seen her since I was seven but, I guess she still recognized me.
Yea, so I was on the train and called Mrs.Becky. She said her son and some of his friends would be at her house for about two months but, then they leave for a meet & greet convention called Magcon. I said I was cool with it. I don't really care I'm just grateful she is allowing me to live with her for the summer.
"Hey, Mrs.Becky!" I said whilst hugging her.
"Hello, Ari. I'm so glad your here!" She said.
I looked at her and she just starred back at me.
"You look exactly like Brook." She said with tears filling her eyes. I was tearing up also. I guess I'm just an emotional person.
"That's the best compliment anyone has ever given me." I told her. She just smiled and helped me with my bag.
"Thank you so much for letting me stay with you!" I said as we were getting into her black Range Rover.
"Oh, darling it's a pleasure to have you. I was scared I would be all alone with a house full if boys." She said whilst giggling.
"You see, my son stays with his father in North Carolina during the school year and lives with me during the summer usually. This year though he has been invited to Magcon along with his friends because they are famous in this app called Vine." She said with a huge grin on her face.
"Oh, well I still live in North Carolina so, maybe I will know them." I said. I was kind of worried. I had never met Becky's son. I guess I just never saw her during the summer.
"You might!" her grin was kind of starting to creep me out.
We pulled into what I assumed was her driveway. She lived in a normal sized house. Two stories.
"You will have your own room for now but, tomorrow we will have to pair you up with one of the boys." She told me. I just nodded. Again, I don't really are. I'm just happy for a place to stay...
She showed me to 'my room'. It consist of a king size bed, a dresser, a full length mirror in the corner, and a flat screen T.V. It was pretty cool. Better than any other room I've ever had.
