"Who are you?" Jack Johnson asked me. (JJ)

I just looked at him..

"You guys have to be the dumbest people." I said. As I started walking away Nash grabbed my arm.

Seeing that they are all 3 years older than me other than Hayes he is my age. They are all a lot stronger than me. He ranked me back and it could feel my cuts start to bleed.

"I'm gonna ask you one more time. Who are you?" JJ (Jack Johnson) asked.

"God, guys. It's just me! Ariana..." just then I saw Nash's arm rear back like he was about to punch me in the stomach. In that second I said to myself 'hell, no I'm not letting them, let alone anyone abuse me anymore...'

I had learned at a young age how to fight. Being in foster care all your life you got pushed around my older kids so, I know a lot about fighting.

I grabbed his fist before he throw a pinch at my stomach. I looked him in the eye and saw all the guys standing there in shock.

"Why don't y'all leave me the hell alone..." I said in a very intimidating voice.

"Whatever." Aaron replied.

It hurt that Aaron bullied me. I mean when he was five him and my brother were like best friends. After my brother died Aaron has never been the same. He is the only one out of the group that knows about my leukemia and that I'm in foster care. It just doesn't seem to faze him.

I walked away full of confidence and strength. As the final bell rang and we were being dismissed I grabbed my books and headed out the door of the classroom. In the hall I saw the guys picking in one of the 'nerds' per say.

"Hey! look, don't hurt her. Hurt me. She hasn't done anything. I looked into the girls teary eyes and she mouthed 'thank you' to me. They still wouldn't let her go. "Look, you and I both know I'm a worthless price of shit with leuk---" I stopped mid-sentence when I realized what I was about to say.

"Just let her go..." Cameron dropped the girl and she just fell to the ground and started crying.

Cameron just looked at me.

"You're a worthless piece I shit with what?" Cameron said with a worried look in his big brown eyes. It was weird. I just didn't reply.

"Answer me!" he yelled in my face while kneeing me in the stomach.

Aaron stepped in and said, "You're not worthless." He murmured under his breath to were only me and and the boys could hear him.

"Guys we should go." Aaron said softly. I could tell that e was starting to feel guilty. Maybe he didn't think I still had leukemia.

"Not until she answers us!" Hayes said with anger in his voice. Even though he was younger he was still strong and frightening. He slapped me across the face. By this time it was 3:23 and I should be home by now. Oh, god I'm gonna be in so much trouble! I guess I just have to tell them.

"Look, I have...I-I-I..." I stuttered.

"Spit it out!" Jack Gilinsky yelled at me. I was so scared but, it was time to tell them.

"I HAVE LEUKEMIA!" I screamed at them. With as much power as I could in my little body. They all just stood there stunned. With that I ran away.
