Panic.

Screams, shouts and the sound of fire burning covered the air temple. Monks desperately fled for cover as fireballs rained down upon them, failing to be stopped by gusts of air. The monks non-violent tendencies would lead to their downfall as they aimed not to harm their attackers, but only to try and force them to flee. Many monks tried to protect their injured comrades but this only made them easier targets for the firebenders. Without mercy the firebenders aimed directly at them and shot fireballs, instantly killing them.

Among all of the chaos and panic a young female airbender raced through the fight, weaving her way through all of the fire. Once she had reached an area that hadn't seemed to be burnt to the ground yet she threw up her glider and jumped onto it, her fingers gripping tightly around the wood as she tried to stop herself from crying. In an instant she pushes her glider away to try and push away an oncoming fireball, but she was not strong enough. This fire seemed a lot stronger than usual and her vision became red-orange as the fire surrounded her. An ear piercing scream could be heard as she reached out to her glider and thrust it downwards, pushing the fire away from her.

Seconds later her feet landed on ground, on the inside of some sort of building. After the smoke had cleared she could not tell where she was. She looked around and panic began to build up inside of her chest, tears threatening to fall from her eyes. The building she was in now was burning, tables and chairs along with other things she did not know let off an awful smell. Seeing a window and not recognizing what lay beyond, she busted it out using her glider and flew out, weaving through big metal-looking buildings. Below her were around a hundred people, staring at the building and then at her.

She could hear people yelling up at her but she couldn't recognize any of the people and continued to fly. A dark shadow loomed above her and to her shock and horror when she turned her head around, a giant woman dressed in tight clothing was trying to grab at her. Deciding that she couldn't trust anyone she could see, she flew lower weaving her way between buildings so that she could not be caught. Looking back once more she could see that she was far from the giant now, but in looking back she could not see forward and this led to her crashing into the side of one of the buildings and falling downwards, blacking out as her back hit into glass.

Darkness shrouded her mind as she struggled to regain consciousness. She slowly began to hear things but could not force herself to open her eyes. A steady beeping noise, the shuffling of feet and several voices filled her head. The voices were muffled and she couldn't make out what they were staying. If these people were anything like the firebenders she needed to get out quickly, but maybe they were like the air nomands. She didn't want to stick around to find out. She slowly regained more and more control of her body and as soon as the voices seemed to be gone she opened her eyes.

Unfortunately for her however, she was greeted by a man with messy black hair, a weird thin looking scarf and strange yellow glasses. Standing next to him were two men in black and blue uniforms along with what looked like a dog standing like a person in a suit. "Finally woken up have you?" The dog guy asked much to her confused face. She only stared at him blankly before her head started to turn around the room, taking in all of the weird surrounds. She didn't know what kind of benders these guys were so it was the smartest decision for her to say nothing and stare up at them.

The dog guy spoke once more "So who are you? There was no information of you or your quirk on the records and your clothes aren't typical of this area. "My name is Nima, I'm from the Southern Air Temple. Where am I?" She responded, her head moving from side to side as she tried to find her glider. Noticing their confused looks she tilts her head to the side "What?" "That isn't a real place" The dog guy responds. His statement only led to her being more confused.

Noticing the weird tension in the room, the other man in the room spoke up "So what's your quirk?" He asked, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning back against the wall. Staring up at him she only kept the confused look on her face. "Okay, let me put this another way" The man starts "How were you able to fly with that?" He asks, pointing over towards her staff that rested up against the wall on the side of the room.
