dreads

well this topic always leaves a bitter taste in my tongue bc i just. look okay.
dreadlocks, braids, or any type of hairstyle that is found in black culture, used by people who aren't black, that is cultural appropriation. i don't make the rules.

and so, you shouldn't say that it's not because it is omg knock it off.

what i think you shouldn't do is blame the artist for this (wait wait keep reading). like,, most of the time it really is because of their stylists, these guys are basically dolls okay, props to suit a concept or a show; they don't have a fucking choice so saying '... cancelled' is plain mean because it's not their fault

this happened to multiple people like kai (a few times too ugh i hate sm stylists, i mean just because he's dark skinned or wha?), winwin, taeyong, taeyang, bobby and dawon sf9.
like fuck, these guys took em right off after promotions and like a few stages so yea it was only to suit the concept and then done.

sm stylists really gotta learn tho, their stupidity is rlly pissing me off

as for like,, zico, i dont know man i mean he likes attention and is pretty problematic himself so i dont know if he wanted those dreads, or he was given them. :)
