The Tale of Two Angels (School for Good and Evil fanfic)

A Summary

So here's an outline, just so any remaining curious people who read this can know and move on and forget this book exists.

14. Frost worries about Rose in class, then introduces her to Reed during lunch time.

15. Cygnelle and Lesso voice their concerns over the fate of the school, both wishing Dovey was still there. A sealed box containing a very dangerous artifact is mentioned, the item being a silver ring.

16. Time skips to the end of the day so the Forest group, Flowerground, and a pair of golden eyes are mentioned. Turlach, a leprechaun, is their group leader. Characters introduced are Decker Pleincarde, the son of the captain of Wonderland's card guards; a coven of witches composed of Elvira, Perdita, and Lilith; the wolffish Lucius; a shadowy boy named Sion; Dysis the half-mermaid; a shifty Never called Garet; a trio of Everboys with Apollo, Baron, and Cyrus; Phoebe, a descendant of The Frog King; and Parezanade, who has roots from the tales of 1001 Arabian Nights.

17. The challenge for that period of Surviving Fairy Tales is revealed to involve Evers and Nevers working together to cross a bridge filled with all manner of obstacles. This causes an uproar that is silenced by Frost and Rose's combined efforts.

18. Filip watches the whole thing from his dream-world and thinks about the prophecy.

19. The challenge is completed days later with a lot of Talents involved. Frost is mentioned to be having strange dreams involving a ring.

20. Rose is given the test involving Wish Fish. When she attempts to do so, the fish show a scene of a the Gracehills' burned home and their parents' still bodies rather than a simple image. Frost senses her distress and jumps out the window during Uglification class to get to the her faster. Rose reveals she wished to know what happened after they were taken, and the two mourn the loss of their home. Frost promises not to let them be hurt like that ever again. Golden eyes and black feathers are mentioned.

21. Frost and Rose end up in Filip's dream world, much to his annoyance. They end up fighting Nightmares together, and Filip notes their lack of silver rings and decides to give his to Rose, the voice in his head protesting all the while.

22. Cygnelle and Lesso discuss things again and it comes to their attention that Rose suddenly has a ring. They only manage to mention its capture was a key point in the Second Great War when a masked figure comes in and erases certain memories with a spell before disappearing.

23. Rose and Frost receive their animal companions. Rose receives a golden-eyed raven she dubs Aurum and Frost gets a white wolf he names Quicksilver.

24. Rose comments that wishes Aurum was a person. He is revealed to be Collin, now an adult. He explains how he was almost going to be a top Henchman until a sudden failure placed him as a Mogrif instead. He thanks Rose, and expresses a desire to stay with her and help her out however he can. He discovers he can transform between raven and human forms at will, and more or less ends up being a butler to her. Frost finds out about it this relatively quick and entrusts Collin with watching over his sister when he can't.

25. Rose finds an Evergirl named Kelia(a descendant of Rapunzel) sobbing in her room with her friends around her. A Never's prank resulted in the loss of her long locks and she moans about her hideousness despite the attempts of fellow Evergirls to cheer her up.  As she continues to moan, Rose asks the other girls in the room to leave. When alone, Rose asks if Kelia really thinks of herself as the ugliest in the Schools, which she confirms. Rose asks if Kelia thinks she(Rose) is beautiful. She spitefully replies yes. Rose then tells her that she can make Kelia prettier than her. Rose asks Kelia to close her eyes, which she does. For a while Kelia sees and feels nothing. Rose tells her to open her eyes, and when she does she begins to complain about how nothing's changed. Then she sees Rose. With a pair of scissors that laid on her bed among the other tools Kelia's roommates tried to help her with, Rose had cut her hair as short and messily as she could. Rose calls herself the ugliest in the Schools and tells Kelia she's prettier than her now. She sobs happily and hugs Rose.
Meanwhile, jealous ones have appeared since Rose and Frost have been rising through the Ranks, and a bunch of them try to sneak to Rose's room to look for blackmail material. Collin is there, however and from the unlit room scares them away by shooting thin featherlike daggers at them from the shadows.
