The Night To A Flame

She saw him enjoying his drink. Excusing herself from her friends, she was heading towards him. She said, "You really liked the vine I guess". Ayaan with a very sweet smile looking in to his glass said "Sure it is....really a good one. Haven't you tried?" "Yes....one glass though"..she replied.
Ayaan really wanted to spend some time with her. His heart was miserably asking him to ask her for a walk. He was trapped between the battle of mind and heart! "You okay? Why do I feel, that you always go to some other planet whenever I start  speaking  to you? Is that so? Or is it my absurd thoughts?" She asked with a very naughty smile on her face. Ayaan's palpitating heart did some sparkling. He looked even more adorable. He looked up to her eyes and said "Well well well! Don't you think it's little ...uh...crowded? Why don't you take a walk with me? Um...so that I can clear doubts?" 'You just slayed it man. That went well. Great job!'..the Inner Ayaan spoke.
He looked at her wondering what she would say. She smiled and bit her one side of the lips "Yeah sure. I hate crowd though!" She said. "Hmm? Really? ....After you then". Ayaan asked her to move first by showing his gestures with his naughty smile. He exhaled the last moment's apprehension and walked with her. "So what do you do ..uh....sorry I forgot your name". Ayaan said with a fussy face. "Are you nerve? How could you possibly forget my name if I haven't told you about my name? Hahah you are funny though". She said with a cute chuckle. 'Shit! Why Ayaan? Stop being a dumbass!' Ayaan's inner voice spoke again to himself.
"Uhm ... You know I talk to many girls so I always fail to even recognise them or recall their names". He made a thoughtful move. "Aditi.... is my name. Yours?" She asked. "Ayaan. Isn't that weird that we had met twice or thrice but never knew our names?" She nodded yes and smiled. "So Aditi.." Ayaan was interrupted by her saying "Aadi...you can call me Aadi". She winked. "Hahah Aadi what do you do?" "Fashion designer.....we work in Lara's boutique"she said. "Cool....you must be very creative then". He said with a smile.
"Okay so how long are we gonna walk? My legs are hurting". She said with a very painful face. "Oh yeah mine too....let's sit right over there". Ayaan pointed a very peak point. "Why there? Looking from here I feel like that way directly leads to sky!" She said with an astonishing face. "Haha trust me...it will be awesome there". Ayaan walked with excitement. "Dduh!! My legs are hurting". She said raising her hands up. "So? You want me to take you and walk all the way long? " he asked with naughty smile. She blew the hair which was hanging just infront of her face....and walked after giving him a look. Ayaan laughed and followed her. They sat and made themselves comfortable.
"Woah! The view is fab!" She covered her mouth of amusement. "Huh told ya". He said. "Its cold..." she said rubbing her hands.
"So....what kind of songs are you into?" He asked looking at her. "I listen to melodious ones...but not that I don't listen to pop....melodious ones are really good. You?" She asked. "Same here....I am not asking about the bollywood singers anyway...cause it must be Arijit Singh, Palak and Shreya. Right?" She nodded yes with a wide smile. "English songs?" He asked after a pause. "Cold play, maroon 5..and and oh my god Christiana Perri. Uhm maybe I don't have any favourites....I listen randomly if I liked it I'll listen them  again. But I must say....Adam Levine...he is my crush since years". "Haha yeah he is great though".

They talked for hours. They shared their likes and dislikes. There was laughter that echoed. They enjoyed hearing those. Aadi was shivering and was sleepy too. "Hahah well I can be you Jacob for one night" he said in the wittiest manner. "Haha very funny. Now let's go back cause once I slept you will have to carry me all the way long". She said with a wink.
They walked back. They hold their hands tight cause it was cold. The hands spoke to each other. Their eyes too did. She gave no break to her talks. They reached their place....ran to the fireplace. Fire wasn't there....but still they could feel the warmth. Sat there for a few minutes. Still no break to her talks.
"Goodnight 'blabber mouth'. See you in the morning". He said in a low voice as he doesn't want this night to end. "Haha blabber mouth....I like you there. Good night. It was great tonight". She too said with a low voice. She smiled and waved hands to him...and slowly walked towards her tent.
Ayaan watched her going. He exhaled his air of hope and happiness. Sat there....and engaged him in his world of unconsciousness.
