Choosing One

What?!

    'Haruhi, I love you!' That was Tamaki-senpai.

  'Haruhi, we've each found someone who was more important than each other and it's you!' The twins.

  'Haru-chan, wanna share this cake with me? It's sweet, like you, Haru-chan!' Honey-senpai.

  'Haruhi, it seems I have taken a liking to you, want to hang out?' Kyoya-senpai.

  'I've taken you here to confess something, I adore you, even more than Mitsukuni.' Mori-senpai.

  Tomorrow is gonna be a long day.

       (Time skip- Lunch!)

"Haruhi!" Kaoru waved, "Sit with me?" "Uh..." I felt nervous.

  "No Haruhi," I turned to see Hikaru, "Sit with me instead." Any of the girls who go to the unused music room would be confused, and any one else, I realised, I was wearing the male uniform. Both twins started dragging me, pulling my arms.

  "I didn't know they were THAT good of friends." A girl said. 'It's not what it looks like...' I wanted to say, but I didn't.

  They were arguing now, it was Annoying! "Fine, Hikaru!" Kaoru announced loudly, "Have Haruhi, but let me say something to her first." "Have it your way, Kaoru." And they both let go.

  Kaoru dragged me out to the hallway. "Sorry you had to see that, Haruhi." He said honestly, "The truth is... I lied, I wanted to get Hikaru closer to you. He doesn't have many friends that he keeps close.

  "But he always seems happy with you. So I tried to strengthen your relationship by 'getting between you'. I thought that way, Hikaru could finally find someone else he loves."

  "K-kaoru..." I whispered, "But what about you? Don't you have the right to love someone?"

  "Yeah, I love you too. But Hikaru-"

  "You don't have to do everything for your brother, Kaoru!" I cut him off, "It's not fair to you!"

  "I think I've heard enough." We both turned to see Hikaru, "Kaoru..." For the first time, I saw the twins cry, real tears. "Hikaru..." They were hugging.

  "I'm sorry, Kaoru."

  "It was my fault, Hikaru."

  I realised, no matter how much they cared for me, they still need each other. I smiled and walked away.

  School sure was, uh, something today. I was about to feel relief going to the Host Club, almost. I then realized that all the guys I was trying to avoid were there. Great, I'm gonna skip, I thought. I THOUGHT.

  "Get her!"

  "Huh?!"

  There went that idea. I got dragged back to the music room. 'Host Club closed till further notice' a sign read. "Noooo." I moaned.

  "Haruhi/Haru-chan!" Everyone yelled (minus the twins who took me here). "What do you want?" I groaned.

  "Haru-chan?" Honey-senpai asked, cute as ever, "Are you okay?"

  "Do you want me to answer that question, because you won't like the answer I'll give you." I retorted. "H-Haru-chan..."

  "Have a seat." Kyoya-senpai said flatly.

  "You too, Mitsukuni." Mori-senpai added.

  I reluctantly sat down, knowing Hikaru and Kaoru would just follow after me if I ran. "So, we are here to discuss our problem." Kyoya-senpai said, "As we all know, each one of us told Haruhi we loved her. However, Haruhi can only choose one. Does anyone have any suggestions?" I raised my hand, "Haruhi?"

  "We could all just leave me alone and end it here-" I started.

  "Or..." Kaoru cut in. "We could have a compatition." Ended Hikaru. Seriously?

  "Sure! Then Haruhi would be all mine!" Tamaki-senpai yelled.

  "It was OUR idea, so we're in."

"I guess."

  "Fine."

  No! Everyone but Honey-senpai answered. I looked at him pleadingly.

  "Shouldn't Haru-chan have a say in this?" He finally asked.

  They all looked around, exchanging glances. "No." Everyone said in unison.

"Eh?!" I sounded surprised, but I shouldn't be. I knew this would happen. Oh, well...

  "So, the objective of the game is to get Haruhi to say 'I love you' and MEAN IT. That means no bribing, boss."

  "I'd never!" He yelled.

  "The first one to do that is the winner!" Kaoru announced.

  "And the winner gets to marry Haruhi!" Hikaru laughed.

  "WHAT?!" I yelled, "I never agreed to this!"

  The twins smirked, and together they said, "Let the games begin!"

  So, it's kinda hard to decide who'll win Haruhi's heart and hand in marriage. So commenting would be easier to see what the audience wants. Just comment the Host you want to end up with Haruhi at the end of any chapter but the end, that would be pointless. Okay? Good
