Waking up to George next to me is the best thing. I opened my eyes, and noticed my arms were wrapped around George. He wasn't facing me, I was looking at his back. He was still asleep, I smiled to myself. Today is Wednesday.
Oh no, George. He's leaving.
My smile disappeared and a frown took it's place. I felt my heart sink, I tilted my head and I bumped George's back. I hugged George tighter, not wanting him to leave me. A tear rolled down my cheek, I wiped it away with the back of my hand. I felt George shuffle around. I had woken him up, he turned around in my arms to face me. I gave him the best smile I could to him. Another tear rolled down my cheek. I didn't want that to show. George moved closer to me and pulled me closer. He wiped away the tear on my cheek with his thumb and kept his hand on my face. I sniffled, he pulled me into his chest and I sobbed. We didn't say anything to each other. We didn't need to, we knew what was on each others mind. We stayed like this for awhile, when I stopped sobbing I looked up to George. He had watery eyes. It made me want to cry even more, he kissed me on the lips quickly then said,
"Let's get up," I heard his voice shake as he said it. I didn't want to leave though. That would be a step closer to George leaving me. I nodded anyway and I pulled the covers off me. I sat up on the side of the bed for a second then walked out the room with George. We walked down the stairs into the kitchen. The phone rang. I walked into the corridor to answer it. I picked up the phone and held it to my ear,
"Hello?" I said,
"Hello Michelle, it's John,"
"Hi John, Would you like to talk to George?" I asked.
"Um if he's there?" I waved my hand to George to bring him over. He walked over and I gave him the phone. He held it to his ear and I watched him speak to John.
"Hey John." "At seven o'clock? Okay," "Okay where are we going?" "Your house okay," "Okay I'll see you then, bye," He put the phone down. He looked over at me and said,
"I don't go till seven o'clock, today John asked if we'd like to go to John's house. Everyone will be there. It would be like our last get together for a while, then after we would all go to the port together." I gave him a little smile and said,
"Okay, shall we get ready to go to John's?" George nodded and we walked back up the stairs to get changed.

Walking to John's house now, I'm walking with George hand in hand. Every so often I would notice George look at the ground in deep thought, frowning. I don't want George to be upset that he's leaving. This is meant to be exciting for him, not a nightmare. I squeezed his hand and he looked up at me. I gave him a warm smile and he gave me one back.
"Aren't you excited?" I asked a bit randomly. He looked at me again.
"Not really.."
"You should be! This is like.. an adventure! Think about the things that could happen. You're going to a different country! And you can play music everyday! You love that don't you, it should be exciting. Just imagine, your band could be famous because of this trip," he gave me a little smile thinking about it.
"But.. I need you," he gazed down at the ground.
"George, I'm still here. I'm not leaving you. You'll be back soon, and then we'll have each other again," he gave me a nice smile and I grinned knowing that I finally made him happy. "Just don't forget to write me okay?" he laughed then said,
"Of course!" he wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me close to him. I smiled knowing that George felt a bit better about it. We walked up John's walkway to his door. George knocked on the door, and it opened. John was stood there, he gave us both a nice smile and said,
