Sometimes, Alex wakes up to bottles breaking or her uncle stomping around the house. But now, she woke up to Bulkhead and Ratchet.

"BULKHEAD I NEEDED THAT!!" Ratchet bellowed.

"Well I'm sorry." Bulkhead replied sarcastically. "Maybe you haven't noticed that I can't control where the lob ball ends up."

Bulkhead turned to walk away when he suddenly was up-close and personal with the floor, a large wrench beside his head. Ratchet dusted his hands off and turned back to his work. He then heard someone smirking which grew into laughter. He spun around and discovered his charge was roaring with laughter. She was on the couch clutching her stomach when she noticed him staring at her. She sat up straight and glared at him. He just picked up another wrench and smiled evily.

"Good morning Alex." Ratchet said in a creepy voice

The poor girl's eyes grew wide as she dreaded the oversized wrench being thrown at her. Ratchet scoffed at her expression and set the wrench down.

"As if I would do that." Ratchet said. "This one's saved for Wheeljack." Nodding to where the destructive wrecker was in recharge.

Alex relaxed at this and sighed. She turned to greet Jack, Raf, and Miko. They were on summer vacation so they were going to spend all of it with her and the Autobots. Jack came over with breakfast in a to-go box and gave it to her with a smile.

"My mom made this. She's um... coming later." Jack said quietly.

Alex accepted the food and began chowing down. It was about 11:30 when Ratchet shouted something about Decepticon activity. Miko squealed excitedly and looked at Alex.

"Your first bot/con fight!" She whispered.

She pulled Alex off the couch and into her usual hiding spot when she was about to sneak out. As Ratchet activated the groundbridge, Optimus stood before his team in all his Prime glory.

"Autobots, transform and roll out!" The Prime said before running into the groundbridge and transforming.

He was followed by Bumblebee, Bulkhead, Arcee, Smokescreen, and Wheeljack. Shortly after, Miko dragged Alex towards the groundbridge before it closed. They emerged out with Miko literally carrying Alex. She doubled over, clutching her stomach and looking like she was going to throw up. Miko laughed nervously.

"You'll get used to it."

The two girls hid behind a rock and watched as the Autobots fought against Decepticon drones for control of an energon mine. Unfortunately, Alex's good time didn't last long. A Decepticon observing the fight cough Knockout cough spotted them, namely Alex. He had been told to watch for a human girl who carried important information and to bring her to Megatron.

"All too easy." Knockout whispered to himself.

He reached out to grab the unsuspecting girl all dinosaur-catching-prey style and snatched her from her hiding spot. He covered her mouth one digit, but it was too late. She had already screamed and got Miko's attention, who then started waving her arms and shouting to get Optimus' attention. Knockout knew he couldn't face the Prime alone, more or less, everyone. He transformed with Alex secured inside and sped off.

"Soundwave I need a bridge now!" Knockout screeched into his comm.

He sped into the Decepticon groundbridge and smile with satisfaction when it closed just before the Prime could enter. He appeared on the Nemesis and transformed again, holding Alex tightly in his servo. She struggled like there was no tomorrow... well there might not be one for her.

"It's no use to strugggle doll. Your going to Lord Megatron no matter what." Knockout said smoothly.

Alex froze at the mention of the name Megatron. Terrible memories flooded her head.

It can't be! She thought. He really is real?!

She squeezed her eyes shut as Knockout slid her into a jar-like cell and screw on the lid. He picked it up and gave it a small shake, which made Alex fall to the ground. He smirked and carried her off. Knockout just left the medical bay when he ran into Starscream.

"Watch where you're going, Knockout!" The seeker hissed.

He then noticed the contents Knockout was holding and leaned forward to get a better look. Alex scrambled backward at the sight of the familiar mech.

"It really is you" Starscream said. "I knew you'd show up sometime."

"Yes, now move. We can't keep Lord Megatron waiting." Knockout replied annoyed.

Alex whimpered as Starscream tapped on the glass and smirked. She curled into a little ball and wished that it was all dream. Of course, it wasn't. She remembered that when Knockout entered the bridge and presented her to Megatron, who sneered at the sight of the small girl.

"Well done, Knockout." Megatron stated. "Take care in making sure our guest is... comfortable."

Alex closed her eyes and buried her face in her knees. She was behind enemy lines, and she wasn't sure if she would see the light of day again.
