Emma's POV
We found our apartment easily after Killian told us the direction "Here we are kid." It was a large white block with windows all the way up it was around 20 storeys big, number 28 is our apartment on floor 9 "come on kid we got a long way to go." As we gathered our things and made our way to our new apartment.Luckily there was a lift.
I unlocked the door it was pretty basic white walls and a mini built on kitchen "Theres just a kitchen?"
"yeah I know henry the moving van should be here soon" Coincidently I got a text from the moving company
m: We are very sorry Miss Swan but your van has been delayed. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
"absolutely brilliant." I said sarcastically
"What's up mom?"
"Well it turns out the moving van wont be here till tomorrow
"Seriously?"
"yeah kid looks like we got to find a new place to stay for the night come on."
henry followed me out of the door. As I came out I noticed a familiar face that belonged to a woman with long black hair and brown eyes "Lily?" She looked up "Emma? What are you doing here?"
"Well I got promoted and moved here. And you?"
"hmm well I have just been here for a fresh start apparently you can get one of those here. Where do you work?"
"oh I'm a police officer."
"nice well done I got to rush off to work." I swear something's different about her that's she's hiding something "wait!" I called after her "Emma I really got to go to work." She turned around and said but then started walking away
"I know but do you know of any hotels to stay at?"
She turned again "oh yes hmm Granny's on main street there's a massive sign saying Granny's you shouldn't miss it."
"Okay thanks."
I wasn't dumb I knew she wasn't going to work for starters that way didn't lead to the exit and I can tell when someone's lying And well she is

the trip with henry was quiet and after about 10 minuets I saw a big green and red sign saying granny's lit up We got out of the car and went in I went up to the counter and a girl with brown hair with red strips served me "Hello, welcome to granny's what can I get ya?" her voice was cheery
"Actually I need a room."
