The Fallen Goddess

Basically I took an oc of mine (Luna Star) and rethought her as Goddess Hylia's direct descendant. I have no idea where this will go, so be prepared. ((Pic of Luna above))

Allso, I added a character that represents Hylia's sister, the Goddess Emerce.

And one more thing, in this short Zelda is very much like the memories of Botw, she has no power yet. Zelda and Luna are good friends for this :)

"LUNA!"

Zelda's annoyed voice reaches me and I roll my eyes at her childish anger "What do you need, Princess?" My calm voice seems to startle her, for her angry step falters for a moment.

"Luna, what in the world were you thinking? You cannot send my soldiers off without my knowing." Her voice leaks authority, authority that would make anyone else cower from it.

It just made me angry

"I can and I did. I told you of the foreign power in your kingdom and you chose to ignore it. For the sake of your people I sent soldiers out to intercept the strange power." I clasp my cloak around my throat, turning to look at the princess "If it makes you feel any better, im going there now. Are you going to pout like a child or are you coming with me?"

Zelda glowers at me before caving, grabbing her cloak and following me "I do not enjoy having my kingdom taken away from me, Luna." Her voice is woeful, and I cant help but shake my head

"Trust me princess, when you learn how to lead your kingdom ill leave you alone. Until then, I am just making helpful decisions for you." I nod in thanks to the stable hand holding our horses before jumping onto mine, a white female I named shimmer, for the gold shine her fur gives off in light.

"Are you implying I am a bad ruler?" Zelda jumps onto her horse, directing it to follow me

"Oh Zelda, Im not implying anything. I am telling you straight out: You are a horrible ruler." I smile back at Zelda for a second before snapping Shimmer's reigns, causing her to break into a gallop

I pull out my bow about halfway through, shooting a few boblokins nearby us. There is definitely something wrong here.. boblokins never come out during the day, not anymore at least.

"Slow Shimmer, I sense it." My horse immediately complys, slowing to a fast trot

"Luna?" Zelda's voice breaks my concentration, and I glare back at her

"Follow me slowly. Dont get in my way Princess, im serious" My tone holds no room for argument, and she nods in understanding

I spot the large group of soldiers, all blocking my view of the intruders. I do notice the number of dark mobs here, meaning that damn demon lord is here.

"Fucking fantastic. Shimmer, take me to the soldiers."

She neighs in agreement and runs toward the group, who immediately part for me

I jump off Shimmer, landing gracefully at the front of the group of idle men. There was Hylians fighting in the middle though, and I scoff at their immature moves

"EVERYBODY STOP"

The soldiers hear my voice, all of them ceasing all actions and bowing down to me

I dont even spare them a glance, my attention instead focused on the figure in front of me

"Luna?"

"Emerce?"

She rushes forward, catching me in a hug "Oh sweet Luna! We missed you so much, my sister will not stop talking about you"

I push the excited Goddess away, drawing my sword and pointing it at her

"You! You betrayed me! You left me!" The betrayal in my tone causes her to flinch

"Dear Luna, I never meant to cause you harm, I was too busy containing Hylia after you fell, your condition slipped my mind.." Emerce doesnt even blink at the sword, instead focusing on my face

I sheath my sword, facing the soldiers once more "You may go back to the castle now men. Thank you for responding so diligently to my summons."

It was quite an awe inspiring sight, seeing the short 200 men stand and nod to me in unison, before beginning the trek back.

"Luna, what have I said about ordering my men?"

"Zelda, what have I said about ruling your kingdom?" I smile at her before turning once more, facing my 'aunt' and a not so sneaky demon trying to escape

"Really Ghirahim?" I pull out my bow, shooting an arrow into the tree next to the demons head, all without taking my eyes off Emerce

"Well, thanks to your disconcern of my wellbeing, I've found myself in a crumbling kingdom in desperate need of good leadership. I must help them, Emerce. Tell Hylia I'm fine, and that I will return home when I am done here." My tone is dismissive, and Emerce nods before teleporting away

"And you. Why the hell are you out during daylight hours, Demon Lord?"

He shrugs, watching me with a calculating gaze "My monsters sensed unknown magic. I came to investigate."

Zelda speaks up from behind me, calling his bullshit before I had a chance to.

"I highly doubt that Demon. Why did you really come?"

He gives Zelda a calculating glare, speaking with a clear edge to his voice "I caught wind of a few rumors, Princess. Rumors that said a newcomer had came and all but taken the throne away from you. Cant a man be curious about the kingdom he resides in?"

"You are anything but a man, Ghirahim. What you heard was true, but I am not taking the throne. I could care less about this kingdom. But my guilty consience is forcing me to stay and hopefully restore order before I take my place with Hylia once more." I smile calmly at Ghirahim, speaking up before Zelda could humiliate herself more.

I falter slightly under the demons cold gaze, a gesture that doesnt go unnoticed by him. "Ooh, a fallen goddess has decided to help the doomed Hyrule. How very Rich" He smirks at me, causing me to roll my eyes

"You could say. Now get back to your own land, before I call those soldiers back" Zelda hisses at my words, whist Ghirahim's smirk only deepens

"Of course, although I do have a feeling I'll be seeing you very soon, Luna Star."

He bows and nods before spinning around, teleporting away.

"Go back to the castle, Princess"

"Wh-"

"Do as I say"

She hesitates for a moment more before climbing onto her horse once more, riding away.

"What kind of delusions are going on here?" I muse quietly to myself, looking skyward

"Oh Hylia, what did I do to deserve this?"
