(Inside the mindscape, Winter's POV)
Good, we have both entered the mindscape successfully, now all that is left is to find Damien and negotiate. Oh! There he is. I walk up to him and... I black out, how could this be happening here, I know everything there is to know about the mindscape and this should not be happening. Unless, I was right, Damien does know how to control the mindscape, shit. Then I lose consciousness.
(Inside the castle, Fall's POV)
I worry for my sister, she may be powerful in the mindscape but outside of it she is gaining power, she is still fairly weak and I think that she is jealous of me and how much power I have, we are the same age but I have more power than her. I never paid attention in class or to my studies while she worked as hard as possible. She knows all of the spells by heart and teaches them to me, but I still think that she has a few that she hides so that I don't have too much power over her.
Anyway I need to stop thinking about that and focus on the task at hand. We agreed that once we become allies that Damien could have the rest of his powers. I choose to be the one to go get it. If I remember correctly it should be behind this rock. There we go, I head back only to find Damien's men standing over my guards unconscious bodies. Oh no, Winter was right it was a trick, the men look up and see me, before I know it they have me in tied ups and they put the orb of power on Damien's lap. It dissolves into Damien, I hope Winter is ok.
