(Fall's POV)
The next morning I wake up to Winter singing. That is really odd she hasn't sung since we took down Mason. I wonder what is provoking her joyous mood. I get dressed and go downstairs.
"Morning Fall."
"Good morning Winter, what has you in a good enough mood to sing again?"
"Well, I woke up today and guess what, I have soooo much power now."
"How?"
"I don't know!"
This is bad, powers don't just form overnight something happened while she was asleep.
"Well, what kind of powers do you have now?"
"So I only got one new power I mostly just grew stronger."
"Let me see."
She can do all of the spells that I can do and more. I don't like this. The new spell that she can do is an unknown spell, it's not in any of the spellbooks. It's like she can think of someone and see what they're doing at that exact moment. It's kind of creepy but still pretty useful.
(Winter's POV)
I feel weird, I keep seeing that face again. Every time it becomes clearer, it feels familiar and I feel like I can trust whoever that is. Anyway I really need to get out of the castle and get some fresh air. I reach the forest and call for my horse. When he reaches me we head into the forest, I'm fairly sure that I shouldn't go in there right now but I go anyway. When I reach the middle of the forest I create a temporary clearing and have a picnic. Then I head back and I...I...I feel so exhausted I don't know how or why but I do. So I head up to bed for a nap.
