The next morning, though I never take more than 5 minutes to decide what to wear, It took me long to decide to choose my outfit. Realizing I was already late, I chose to be myself and hurried up for college.

My lectures went well. I’d almost forgotten about the guy I was about to meet in a few hours, but as the bell for the last lecture’s conclusion rang, It dawned upon me that I had to catch up with him. And for the first time in my life I went to the washroom for a quick refreshing of my hair and look.

As I walked out of the gates of the college, there he was.. Looking stunning in a Red T shirt and His blue torn out jeans. Each and every clothing seemed to compliment his looks.

When he noticed me approaching, he gave me a warm smile of greeting. I was wearing khakhi shorts that rested just above my knee with a black half sleeved top and shoes. My black big dial watch just seemed to enlighten my whole outlook. He looked at me and left out a sigh.

“Hey”, I said.

And to my notice, he blushed and said hii. We walked to the nearest CCD and I found myself being comfortable with him. He was the same kind of boy I’d always wanted to be friends with. Decent, charming personality, respectful, little shy, intelligent and of course hilarious, he made everything about him so perfect.

When we walked inside the café, he offered me a seat.

“Courtesy haan?” I asked jokingly.

“To a pretty girl like you, It comes just naturally”, he winked as he said. And gosh, that made me blush.

We talked for a while and chills ran through my body as I read Café Coffee Day’s tagline, “A lot can happen over a cup of coffee!”

And not to hide, it did. I got to know an amazing person in Ryan. He was way too amazing. He had his quick joking replies. Every time we shared a laugh, there was lightness in the atmosphere that I find hard to express. It just felt so so good. After spending an hour or so, we decided to leave.

“Hey, can I have you n-number?? Umm… So that the next time when you are lost in your own world and I pass by you so you know… Just so that you could pay me a lil attention. That’s it.” He said putting his arm behind his head to protest a little.

I rolled my eyes with a smirk and told him my digits. He quickly saved them in his phone.

After that, we left.

I carried on with my regular routine after coming back home. Just as Dhun entered the house, she thumped my head asking how did it go?

Having a sister is like finding the other half of your soul. Like the missing piece of the jigsaw puzzle that completely fits in each and every situation. The one who hardly needs words to express what she wants to know. That was exactly what was happening between the two of us. I gave her an angry look because mumma was sitting just next to me.

At night, We smashed onto our bed and that’s when she started bolting me with questions, wait.. That would be the littlest description of what she did… She actually played a RAPID FIRE with me… And when she was done, she rested her arms over her head and fell asleep.

My jaw dropped in shock as I saw her sleep, this felt like she got the answers to all the horses stolen from her stable! If that made any sense!!

The next morning while I was on my way to college, my phone buzzed. It was a message from an unknown number. When I checked, It was Ryan.

Ryan:  Outside your college. Right at the spot we.. oops you crashed into me :D where are you?

Blush, laughter, and a hell lot of emotions drained into me at the very spur of the moment. As it would have hardly taken me five minutes to reach my college, I left the message without a reply to surprise him.

When I reached, I saw him leaning on the wall looking here and there wearing a purple checked shirt over a white T shirt and he’d left it all open to give it a look of a jacket with a faded blue jeans. Oh my gosh! He did look amazing.

I tiptoed as I neared him and shouted a loud boo in his ear making him fall directly to the spot where he was standing. I rolled into fits of laughter at the sight and so did he without even bothering to get up from the ground. Then I extended my hand for him to get up, to which he replied..

“Courtesy haan?”

And this time I fell on the ground beside him laughing. We held our stomach as we tried not to laugh that hard because people had already started staring at us. Finally with all might and effort we got up giggling. Looking at the time, I waved him a bye and so did he.

These small meets became regular. Every day he waited outside my college or we fixed up places to meet. That’s when the realization dawned upon me that I had some crazy tinch in me when it came to Ryan. Yes, I was finally falling for someone.
