police station ~

Hank stops his car in front of the police station. As he exits the car you remain seated and look at the station. You were nervous but also excited to finally have a job. You finally exit and follow Hank inside and to his desk, when you reach his desk you see someone.. odd. He's Connor! The android from the TV!

He stands up to greet you. "Hello, my name is Connor. The android sent by CyberLife." He introduces. He has soft brown hair with the cutest brown eyes. "Hello Connor! My name is (y/n)." I put my hand out for him to shake it but he just stares at it and returns to his seat. Oh yeah, I forgot Androids don't know much about human contact. I notice Hank doesn't seem pleased with his newest android partner and stands up and goes to the Captain's office. I take a seat on the desk to the opposite of Hank's.

"I apologize, but I don't recognize you from the report I was given before I entered. Who are you exactly?" Connor asks, I'm stunned by his.. words. "I'm invited by Hank because he's offering me a new job here." I reply, "oh." Connor stares blankly at his desk. "You're that android from the news last night.. right?" I ask, trying to create small talk. "Correct." He replies. Then Hank comes back, looking angrier than ever.  "You know, id usually be at the bar right now..but we gotta go."

"G-go where?" I ask, not prepared for what is about to happen. "We're going to the first case of the day." Hank replies, rolling his eyes. I glance at Connor with a slight smile. But he doesn't return it. I don't really mind since again, he's just a machine. You all enter Hank's car yet again. I feel nervous because this was the job that got your father killed. I just have to be safe. We all didn't talk for the whole ride, then Hank stops. He tells Connor something but I exit before I can even listen. I walk towards the house then feel a hand on my shoulder. I jitter and turn around. It was Hank.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" He asks. "Going inside the house. It's raining Hank!" I reply. "Don't go on investigations on your own like that. Your mother told me to take care of you." He argues. I let him take the lead and Connor walks past me as well. Hank notices Connor, "I told you to stay in the car." Hank stares right into Connor's eyes. "I had to contradict from your instructions to go along with mine. I apologize." Connor replies. I walk inside the abandoned looking house first and smells a horrible stench that almost made me go back outside to puke.

Hank then walks in afterwards, followed by Connor. "Oh jesus it stinks in here." Hank comments. "You're lucky you guys arrived after we opened the windows." Another police officer says then chuckles to himself. He then leaves us to figure the case ourselves. I walk around and see some sort of.. drug. "Connor.." I tap his arm. "What is it, (y/n)? Connor wonders. "What is this.. crystal looking thing?" I ask him. He quickly scans it, in the process his LED turns yellow then back to blue. "Red Ice. Its a drug with one of its main ingredients as therium." He says. "Therium?" I ask curiously. "It's what runs in androids to keep our bio components running, otherwise known as, Blue Blood." He replies and turns away. "I apologize, (y/n). But I must return to my mission." He walks away.

"Somethings surely odd about him.." I say to myself. But of course, my buddy Hank heard. "He's an Android, after all.." He says. I jump a little bit. "Jesus kid you're a bit jumpy today." He turns to Connor and sees him take some blood with two fingers and put it in his mouth. I blush lightly and Hank looks disgusted. "THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" Hank screams at Connor. "I'm sampling the blood. I analyze samples in real time. I didn't warn you, I'm sorry." Connor replies. "Uh..Okay. Just don't put anymore evidence in your mouth okay?" Hank reassures. "Okay." Connor replies.

Hank turns to me as Connor continues with the investigation. "I can't believe this fucking shit anymore." Hank tells me. "Well, it was quite surprising." I say. Connor then calls Hank over to him and tells him something he found. I walk towards the victim and stare at him. "Carlos Ortiz, right?" I ask a police officer. "Correct." He confirms. I count all stab wounds, total to 28. Connor then kneels down next to me while Hank stands behind. "Then the deviant kills him here." Connor tells Hank. "Well, it connects evidence. But now the questions is, where is the deviant now?" Hank asks Connor. "I'm not sure.." Connor replies and gets back up to investigate more.

I stand up as well and go to the bathroom and see messy writing of.. RA9? How interesting.. I leave and look up and see a loose piece of wood.. the attic. I rush to the kitchen and grab a chair. "What the hell are you gonna do?" Hank questions. "I'm going to check something." I answer. "Maybe I should go with you." I face my head to face Connor, grasping my wrist tightly. "You'll get hurt." I tell Connor. After a few seconds of awkward silence I realize what I just said and blush a little more than before. Androids don't feel pain, why would I be worried about him? "An Android cannot feel any pain. So don't worry, I can do this." Connor says then takes the chair from my hands with one slight tug.

androids can't feel pain. Get that through your head.
