bathroom ~

Connor drops be off in front of the bathroom door. "Jesus Connor! What was that for??" You playfully scold. "I don't.. know. I apologize for my behavior, I won't do it again." Connor says with no emotion and walks away quietly. "..the fuck?" You say to yourself.

You walk inside the vacant bathroom to get ready.

You walk out with the same clothes but surprisingly very warm and dry. Maybe Hank or Connor washed then as you were sleeping. You pet Sumo a goodbye and exit Hank's house. You see Hank leaning on his car while Connor sits in the passenger seat. It was a lovely morning. You were sure nothing could possibly go wrong.

You head inside Hank's car as Hank hops in as well. He proceeds to turn the car on to start it. You took a quick nap before actually arriving.

You were leaning on the door before you felt it drift away you almost fall over outside and wake up. You see Connor's hands on your shoulders, catching you when you were about to fall over. You lean up and thank him. "Thanks."
"No problem."
"You two seem like you need each other." Hank barges in. "What does that mean??" You ask confusedly. "Never mind. Hurry up." He replies as he runs towards the entrance to the station.

You and Connor do the same.

researching ~

You finally found a case to investigate. An Android runs off into an abandoned apartment, other residents claim they have heard some strange noises coming from the top floor.

time skip ~

You're in the elevator with both of the men.. you see Connor closing his eyes, probably taking a nap.. do androids even do naps?? Anyway, you all stop at the floor. You get out first to lean against the walls to try to listen for some noises. "So are you gonna stay in there?" You hear Hank exclaim. "No!! I'm coming." Connor replies.

You knock politely on the door as you say, "anyone home?" But follows with no answer. Connor then knocks more furiously. "Hello? This is the Detroit Police Department. Open up!" But also no reply. You three all hear a loud bang onto the floor. "Stay behind me." Hank says as you and Connor both obey.

Hank kicks the door open and we all rush inside to investigate. Connor goes into a room as Hank and I go into the other witch is filled with pigeons. Just then, all three of you were inside one room investigating. You head into the bathroom and spot a bright blue LED flashing into the sink with a pair of scissors with some therium on it. "Agh! It smells like shit in here!" You hear Hank complain for the 10th time. I must admit, it does. But this is an investigation.

You stare at the LED and scissors for a while. Connor then walks up into the same room with you. "Found anything?" He asks. "An LED with scissors." You say. "It's a deviant." He comments. "Well yeah.. he escaped from his designated place on his own will." You say, annoyed just at the though of Connor never being a deviant.

You notice some encrypted writings on the wall.. RA9.. written over and over again. Followed by some maze looking symbols. "What do you think RA9 means?" You ask them turn around and see that Connor was in the other room already. "Of course" you say to yourself. You keep looking but it was very difficult when you were trying to get around the pigeons. You find a journal but tuck it away quickly. You turn and see Connor then looking up before someone dropping from on top of it. You managed to quickly heap Connor out of the way before getting hurt.

You expected a thank you or something to show gratitude but all you hear are, "what are you waiting for? Go after it!!" Hank screams. "On it!" Connor says before releasing himself from my grasp and running after the deviant. You and Hank run after it too, you see Connor directly following him as you and Hank take shortcuts that were safer.

Hank needed to take some breathers but you kept going. You manage to take another shortcut to cut the deviant off. You try to stop him but he pushes you hard enough to make you stumble onto the edge, you held on for dear life. You can slightly see Connor glance at you but continues to chase the deviant. That fucker. You mumble to yourself. "Hurry up kid!" Hank says and holds a hand out for you. You quickly grab it and land onto the other side of the barrier. You started crying. "Are you okay??" Hank asks. "I was so scared.." You say in between your sobbing.

Your sadness then turns into rage and infuriation. You get up and follow Hank towards Connor and the deviant. "Don't you fucking move." Hank says to the deviant which was on the edge. Hank then turns around and slaps Connor hard. You gasp. You knew Hank had a soft spot. "HOW DARE YOU! YOU SAW THAT YOUR PARTNER NEEDED HELP, BUT YOU JUST LEFT HER TO DIE!! You're lucky I exist or else her blood would be on your hands!" Hank screams. Connor then looks down in despair. You feel empathy but don't care. You never should've fallen for him.

You see them turn around and you do the same, walking at a faster pace than the others. Then the deviant walks quick enough to catch up. "Hey.." He says. You don't reply but smile a little knowing that he's a deviant. "I'm sorry I pushed you.." He says, then you frown again and begin sobbing. You go on your knees, facing the floor and tears fell off your face and onto the concrete. "A-are you okay?" He asked concerned. "N-no.." you reply through your sobbing. Then everybody stops and just stared at you. Then the deviant kneels down and uses his hand to lift your head up. "DONT YO-" Hank begins but Connor hushes him. "What's wrong?" The deviant asks. "I-I thought I could trust someone.. something with my life." You spat. All you felt now was anger. Just then the deviant leans closer in and kisses you. It felt nice and you close your eyes and enjoy those few seconds of intertwining with an actual deviant android.

He then pulls away and gets up, leaving you on the ground. He runs to the edge of the roof and jump. You watch with wide eyes. "N-NO!" You reach out but it was too late. You cover your face and sob. You even considered on breaking him free to live on his own. You lay on the floor and let the tears roll off your face. You peek out and see Hank and Connor kneeling down to you. "Its fine kiddo, you'll find another." Hank says and pats your hand. You all get up and you turn around once again and see the edge where the deviant ran off of. You turn back and continue walking, it looked like nothing has happened, but on the inside you were breaking.
