Third person p.o.v.
Y/n y/l/n and Peter Parker were from two completely different worlds, even though they lived in the same city and went to the same school.
Peter knew Y/n, he knew she was this beautiful girl who had popular friends and a jock/football player as a boyfriend. To Peter she was the type of person who would never have anything to do with him and so he never really paid much attention to her except for the impossible things to miss like her beauty and her always looking like she had a perfectly happy life.
Y/n knew Peter's face because of the huge amount of times that they probably crossed paths in the school hallways but she was to busy thinking about what she would do with her parents whose marriage was on the edge of divorce, about her relationship with a guy who doesn't value her at all and about her fake friends to ever care about analysing Peter's life, or anyone else's really.
Y/n was on the edge, she had absolutely no one by her side, and for more that she wanted to call out for help, no one would ever listen to her, blinded by the illusion that was her perfect life.
And then there was Peter, Peter had aunt May who supported him through everything, Ned who also would have his back, somehow he had Michelle who he could count on to always pay attention to everything, he had Spider-Man, his alter-ego that worked as some sort of therapy for him and of course, Mr.Stark who always kept an eye on him from afar.
Peter's p.o.v. (as Spider-Man)
Tonight was just like every other night, I stopped a few thieves, helped a few elderlies and gave some directions, nothing special but I still had to cross the hole city one more time, to check things one last time and to get home.
As I swing from building to building, from rooftop to rooftop everything is calm and the sky tonight is beautiful, I decide to stop at a building so as I could appreciate it. As I land on a random rooftop I started hearing sobs, I look around and see a girl and I realize she's crying. Of course I have to help her, I'm Spider-Man and she looks devastated.
- Hey Ma'am? Is everything okay? - I scared her a little but she calmed down as soon as she realized I was Spider-Man. And that's when I saw it, it was y/n.
- Hey Spider-Man, I'm fine yeah. - she said, I wonder what's happening, she doesn't wanna talk and it's odd because she always looks pretty happy and now she looks completely broken.
- I can see you're crying, c'mon talk to the spider about it, a pretty girl like you should never be as broken as you look. - I say getting closer.
- That's the problem, I never look broken, but I am. I pretended to have a perfect life for so long that now that I wanna try talking to someone about how bad I feel, they never take me seriously. - she says cleaning up her tears.
- And why is it that you feel this way? What's going on?
- Look, you really don't have to do this, you're probably really busy with real problems...
- This is a real problem! I can't just leave you out here crying, I care about everyone's happiness, so spill it.
- Well for starters my parents are driving me crazy, they just scream at each other all the time and sometimes make me feel like I have to pick a side and I really don't want to because I love them both the same way. So there's that and then as if this wasn't bad enough, whenever I try to talk to my friends or my boyfriend about it they never care. My friends only want me because of my popularity that I have because of my self-centered boyfriend who's on the football team and doesn't seem to give a crap about me either. I have cought him cheating on me and everything but I don't dump him because he's right when he says that no one will ever love me, so I might as well just stick with what I have, and that's him.
- What kind of nonsense is that? What's your name? - I ask eagerly.
- Y-y/n. - she answers a little insecure.
- Y/n you are one of the prettiest girls I've ever seen, and you're strong, no one ever goes through what you're going through and manages to have a smile on their face every day! And any guy who doesn't see that just doesn't deserve you! So grab your confidence and just dump that dude already! Get new friends, forget popularity and fake friends. Start over, because you can! - I say with one hand on her shoulder and another lifting her chin.
- Y-you really think all of that? Do you think I can get new friends?
- Do you trust me? - I ask her
- ...we just met...- she started but I grabbed her face softly with both of my hands and looked her in the eyes, even though she couldn't see mine through the mask.
- Do. You. Trust. Me? - I ask her once more calmly and she just nodded - You can do anything you want, you can make friends, and you definitely can do better than that jerk of a boyfriend of yours, you hear me?
- Yeah. You're right, I can do this! Alright I'm breaking up with him tomorrow and I'm starting my new life, with new friends and a new me. - she says confidently.
- That's my girl! - she giggled at my comment. God, that giggle of hers is the most heavenly sound.
- Thanks Spidey! - she hugged me and I hugged her back while my heart skipped 300 beats feeling her comforting warm body against mine.
- I'll tell you what, I'll swing by every once in a while to check up on you, how's that sound?
- That sounds great. Thank you so much. You really are a hero.
- Oh stop it I'm blushing - I joked and made her laugh. I loved that I made her laugh.
[this was supposed to have a part b but my creativity ran out on this idea :/]
