"Black is a suiting color for you, Sinclair." Lotterdome growled, pulling his jacket off. I had managed to scramble to a wall and was sitting with my knees pulled to my chest, watching him. "Guess I'll be getting dirtier than I intended, eh?" His shirt came off.

"Lotterdome... Don't do this..." I begged.

"Shut up." He snapped. "I'm doing this because you apparently don't know where you rank here. You think you're high up because you're the pilot. You get to work side-by-side with Captain Elyi." He kneeled in front of me as he spoke, i pushed as far away from his as I could. "I've worked for five years trying to get a pilotship! And you just waltz in and take it!" His hand slid down my thigh. "You take from me what I treasure, I'll take what you treasure."

I was wearing the same uniform as the rest of the crew, the only differences were my piloting pin and my corset. Thank god for that... and Lotterdome's stupidity. I cried while he attempted to remove the complicated thing it was. This bought me time. As his fingers worked I kicked out again and ran for the door. He caught me, but I kicked that door with all my might. The metal from my boot rang out against the door and I screamed for help. Someone had to hear me. The crew of this ship was huge.

I was sobbing as Lotterdome was completing his task with my corset when the door burst open. Captain Elyi stood staring down at us. I turned away and cried. Lotterdome rose.

"C-captain. I-I was j-just-" He stuttered.

"That's enough." Captain Elyi threw the first punch, I heard it more than I saw it. The sound rings in my ears to this day. I looked up after that. Lotterdome retaliated by landing one on Captain Elyi's jaw. The fight was on.

"What the hell do you think you're doing, Lotterdome?!" Captain Elyi yelled. He was facing an opponent that was two years older and had about 50 punds on him, but he didn't give up.

"Teaching her where her place is!" Lotterdome shouted back, slamming another punch into my savior's face. This time Elyi started bleeding. He reeled backwards but sent another punch straight into Lotterdome's cheekbone. That was the final blow. Lotterdome went down and stayed down. Elyi helped me up and out of the room.

"We'll talk later, Lotterdome. Don't think I'm through with you." He spat, leading me down the corridor. By this time, many of thw crew had gathered around to see what was happening. I must have had a pretty good bruise on my face where I hit the gasket because some of the men would look at me, then turn away. My ribs hurt and breathing was hard. I leaned onto Elyi for support and he helped me into another room. Seconds later I blacked out.
