The following days went by peacefully.  Lotterdome was in a detainment cell, I now knew Captain Elyi liked me, and the scenery was beautiful! We were currently headed towards the coastline of the United Kingdom, where Lotterdome would be sent off the ship. Good riddance.

No one had bothered my since the incident with Lotterdome. If anything, they were all nicer and quite cautious of me. The only one that didn't seem afraid was Richards. He was a sweet guy, not too much older than the Captain and myself. He's quickly become one of my only friend on board this ship. Tall, with brown hair and brown eyes, we could pass for twins if we wanted.

"How's your day been, Sinclair?" Richards asked as he sat next to me.

"Not bad, yours?" I ask.

"Pretty good. Served Loterdome his lunch with a little something... extra..." He winked.

"Eww. What did you do?"

"Spit in his food."

I gagged a little. "Gross!"

He shrugged "Oh well. He ate it with no problem!"

I gave him a little shove. "You don't have to do that you know."

"I know." He frowned some. "But what he did was... unspeakable..."

I simply nodded in response, unsure of what to say. Thankfully though, Captain Elyi strode up to our table and addressed me;

"Pilot Sinclair. Would you do me the honors of accompanying me to Topside?"

"Uh... yeah, sure." I slood, sliding what I hadn't eaten over to Richards, in which he greedily gulped down.

Captain led me out of the mess hall and into one of the corridors, he turned to me and kissed me softly.

"I missed you." He said.

"I wasn't gone too long." I replied. "What's so important on Topside?"

He put his arm around my waist and led me up the ladders. "You'll see."

We arrived up top the Excelsior and what awaited me terrified me. Lotterdome was standing with two guards in front of him. He tensed when he saw me, his eyes narrowing to dangerous slits. I pressed closer to Elyi, who in turn pulled me close and stepped between Lotterdome and I.

"Lotterdome... Do you fear hights?" Captain Elyi asked.

"No, sir." He replied.

"Good." Captain said, then nodded to the guards. "Then this will be a breeze for you."

The guards strapped something to him and pushed him towards Elyi. He stepped away from me and caught Lotterdome by the strap of the pack and pushed him so he faced me.

"Anything you feel the need to say to the Lass?"

"Rot in hell." Was all he said.

"You first." I growled back at him.

He looked like he was going to say something more but Elyi pushed him closer to the edge. Lotterdome struggled some but was manhandled to the edge where he stared stoically down.

"Men like you are not appreciated aboard my ship. The British police are expecting you below. Your parachute in automatic, it will open after about thirty seconds. Pleasure to have you aboard while you were respectable." Elyi told him. "Have a nice fall." With that, he gave Lotterdome a shove that sent him off the ship and spiraling down towards the land below. I stared after in slight shock of what just happened. Captain Elyi returned to my side and pulled me close as we walked back towards the ladder.

"That was what awaited you Topside." He said with a grin.

I looked over my shoulder. "Are you sure he'll be OK?" I asked.

"Perfectly fine."

"OK... Captain?" I asked.

"Yes?"

"Thanks..."
