My Roommate is a Boy?!

What Do You Mean?!

•The New Apartment•
~Asuna's P.O.V~

It was a warm summer afternoon. The wind was blowing the fresh air in circles.

"This way now." A short woman with black hair lead me through the apartment building. The building was small, very few rooms. I smelt lavender from the hallway air fresheners.

We stopped at a wooden brown door. Apartment 4. She unlocked the door. Behind that door was a scrawny, black-haired boy. He was fixing a computer. Boxes were piled everywhere.

The boy turned around, he looked at me dead in the eyes. "What's this about?"

I felt the same way. "I agree with him. What's this about?"

"These are shared rooms. You have to have a roommate to live here." The girl explained.

In unison the boy and I replied back. " What do you mean roommates?!"

"It's like a college dorm room. You have roommates." The girl seemed irritated.

"What's your name?" I demanded.

"Yuuki." She replied.

"Okay, Yuuki. In college you share a room with people of the same gender." I explained.

"Then go for housing at the college." The small woman grunted.

I choked at her words. The housing at the college is almost double the price than it is here. Now I know why.

"I'm good." I calmed down. "Thanks Yuuki. Him and I will figure it out." I practically pushed her out the door.

"Here's your key!" Yuuki handed me a small golden key.

I slid my suitcase inside the room. "Thanks. Bye." I closed the door behind me.

The black haired boy glares at me. I glare back.

"I'm only here to make my mother happy. Don't get in my way." My glare intensified.

"Got it." He fiddled with the computer parts. I'm Kazuto Kiriguya. Most people just call me Kirito."

"My name is Asuna." I took a long look around the room. It's a complete mess...
