Third Person P.O.V•

A few weeks had passed since the fun at the party. Also the sweet kiss Asuna had planted on Kirito. A seed was blooming inside of him. He had more and more feelings for her. Even when she was being snobby.

"Something smells good." Asuna staggered outside of her bedroom into the kitchen.

A cheerful Kirito was cooking a standard breakfast for two. (Eggs, bacon and waffles)

"Where did the waffle maker come from?" His roommate questioned.

Kirito turned away from the small oven. "You question a waffle maker but not why I'm cooking?"

"Oh sorry." Asuna cleared her throat. "Why are you in my kitchen?"

"That's more like it." Kirito hummed a sweet tune before setting two plates in front of the strawberry blonde. One has the thick Belgium waffles on it and the eggs and bacon on the second plate.

"For me?"

"For you bun bun." Kirito winked.

"Would you stop calling me that?" Asuna poked her eggs.

"Never." Kirito sat down with his food, taking the first bite.

They ate in silence. Not that uncomfortable, awkward silence. The sweet, satisfying silence.

Kirito thought he looked at his beautiful roommate eat. She looked like a princess. Even though her hair was tangled and the bags under her eyes showed very well in this lighting.

"Let's do something today." Kirito broke the peaceful silence. "Just you and me."

"Sure. Sounds fun. But, you're paying." Asuna finished the last piece of bacon on her plate.

Kirito was ecstatic,  "Deal."

The two walked down the streets of their lovely city. Asuna's jacket outlined her prefect figure. It made Kirito more interested in being closer to her. She was a magnet to him.

"Why are you staring?"

Before her love struck roommate could filter his words he told her the truth instead of a snarky remark, "you're just so beautiful Asuna."

Her face turned a crimson red. "If I'm not mistaken I would say you're flirting with me." She then proceeded to bury her red cheeks into her peach colored scarf.

Kirito placed his hands behind his head while looking up at the sky, "Have been for the past few weeks."

They continued walking down the sidewalk, the sun was already set. Silence fell between the awkward roommates.

"I'd just like to get to know you better." Kirito tugged Asuna by linking his arm around hers, dragging her into a small café.

Kirito and Asuna sat in a window seat, Asuna facing the window, Kirito away from the window.

"I already know what I want." Asuna glared at the small menu. Strawberry cheesecake, Asuna's favorite dessert.

The waitress came, took their order promptly. Then she dropped off their drinks. "Strawberry cheesecake is your favorite?" Kirito sipped on his tea.

Their waitress dropped off Asuna's cheesecake and Kirito's lemon cake.

"Is this a date?" Asuna hesitantly asked while taking a bite of her food.

"If you want it to be." Her black haired roommate sipped on his tea once more. Inside, he was doing backflips.

Two weeks earlier•

Asuna sighed at her large portion of mathematics homework. She despises whoever made this a required class to begin her college path.

"I'm never getting the right answers!" She sighed once more. Her eyes left the homework and onto her nerdy roommate. "I wouldn't usually ask but, can you help me?"

"Of course M'lady." He walked over to her, reading the equations. "You're just subtracting instead of dividing. Divide these, then you have your answer." Kirito made mathematics seem so easy to Asuna. He would be an awesome teacher.

"Mhm. I think I got it now. Thank you." The strawberry blonde smiles, Kirito's heart skipped a beat.

So cute.
